You clearly have no idea about what I want out of the game or what I like about WoW. You have ten versions that have existed, each having features those various demographics may like/dislike. With your return to talent trees, I see that you are trying to return to your roots but too much has changed over a span of almost two decades of programming.
I’m not going to return to retail for DF, nor for anything thing you put out after that.
Lich King classic on the other hand, you’re making changes to it already that I’m not stomaching very well. So far, I’m still inclined to play but what changes are coming next will determine if and when for how long.
I think it’s time you considered developing “A la carte” style servers where a server has a base of gameplay/mechanics, such as pre-Cataclysm talents vs post Cataclysm talents. And on top of that, you add features from the other expacs that didn’t have them before, such as garrisons in vanilla classic, for example only!
Let us, the players, design how we want certain WoW servers to play, and once a majority of demographics have settled into their preferred server, you can go back to your original business model of development with the purely live retail server.
And to finalize it all, let me just tell you what I want to play. I don’t pretend to speak for everyone obviously, but this is the WoW I want to pay and play for…

Transmog,
barbershop,
LFD/R,
random queue BGs (but that goes without saying),
Dual Spec (maybe even triple spec similar to retail, I don’t know how it works these days),
reforging,
solo queue arena,
RBGs
Thats good for now, but I can go on and add more to this list such as Cash-shop, Token, and other transactional items. And by that same token, I want the recent dungeon nerfs you did to classic BC reverted.
I don’t care if farmers/bots plague my server, nor do I care if swipers, PTWers play along also. In my server anyone should be able to do and/or play the game however they want.
And that’s pretty much it. This is just what I want out of WoW. That’s all.
