I’m extremely frustrated with the competitive progression system. I won 7 matches in a row to climb from Gold 3 to Gold 2, and yet I only filled half the bar toward Gold 1. Then, after just 4 losses (most of which were with clearly unbalanced teams), I’m now about to drop to Gold 4. How is this even remotely fair?
It makes no sense that rank is determined solely by team wins or losses when the system is supposedly evaluating individual performance. If I’m performing well, carrying games, playing high-impact roles like tank or support—why doesn’t that reflect in my rank? Basing personal rank purely on team outcome is ridiculous.
On top of that, players who only use laser or lock-on heroes have a clear unfair advantage. These picks barely require mechanical skill or aiming, and yet they can dominate games. That doesn’t represent actual skill and it seriously harms the competitive experience.
At the very least, there should be more transparency about how progression is calculated, and individual performance should matter more. Right now, playing competitive feels more like a punishment than a rewarding challenge.
