These DoTs are not spell blockable. I’m not 100% sure on Paladin’s but at the very least Warriors cannot spell block the DoT ticks. The damage intake on Experiments is manageable to say the least, due to how you can power through the encounter and/or perform clears/explode with the other tank, but Zskarn’s Burning Claws DoT is just absurd.
I’m not sure if this is intended, so I’m posting here as a bug.
Just make Protection Warrior’s spell block talent work like Protection Paladin’s mastery that gives them a chance to block harmful periodic effects:
“While inside your Consecration, your damage taken is reduced by x.x% and you have a chance equal to your block chance to reduce your damage taken from harmful periodic effects.”
This needs to be looked at. The fact that Mythic guilds are benching Warriors due to the fact they cannot reliably mitigate neither the Burning Claws or the physical DoT of the bombs, is concerning. At least make the tools already available to us be effective so that Warriors do not get absolutely destroyed by these bosses.
