Just wondering what the intended rate of application is for the Searing Claws debuff on Zskarn.
Last night (on normal) my co-tank was getting up to around 15-20 stacks of the debuff before mine fell off and I was able to taunt off of him. The WoWhead guide rec’s swapping at 5-7, but that was basically impossible with the rate at which it was being applied.
So, just wondering what’s going on here.
I am seeing the same thing. All the guides say to taunt around 5-6 stacks but we are getting upwards of 20 stacks the same as you describe as the timer. The timer is no where near being gone by the time 5-6 stacks go out.
It’s absolutely impossible. We had the same issue last night. The debuff lasts 20 seconds from the last application, so once you’re taunted off, you have 20 seconds before you can taunt back, and at an application every 2 seconds, that’s at least 10 stacks you will get no matter what.
We downed it eventually and the 10 stacks seemed survivable enough, but it caused a bit of drama because we insisted we could not do what the published strats say to do.
10-12 stacks. Depends on boss spell queue. Isn’t that bad. Tanked on heroic with pally and did it on normal on my 390 druid. Wasn’t bad either time. Fun boss fight. Very chaotic on heroic.
