just want to put this out there, that the statue in the emerald dream looks straight up like zovaal, and that the statue also has runes etched into it similar, did he create the dream? I feel like maybe there is a connection if he was the brother to the winter queen or something. or is there an explanation for them looking so similar?

It’s because The Emerald Dream was actually all part of his master plan. He let us kill him so we would bring the tree in our world!
We’ll find out why and how in precisely 7 expansions from now when dryads and Cenarius are confirmed to have come from The Maw.

The statue is of the Djaradin’s, indicating their race has been around for an incredibly long time.

i mean isn’t the maw red? and Sire Denathrius uses red type magic, so it could technically be the nightmare of the emerald dream?
ok that would make more sense, but why would they not be in the dream now or have druids and stuff?
I think they’re more likely reference to titans. I don’t see why the Djaradin would have anything to do with a titanic construct - Freya having ‘created’ it

The Djaradins were more about the 10.1 conflicts going on, not with what Fyrakk was trying to accomplish. There’s speculations that they originiated from the Emerald Dream, since they existed before dragons came along. Why they don’t have druids is probably because they are they’re own class/race like evokers/dracthyr. There’s also the speculation that the statues are titan keepers.
