Zones in Shadowlands Likely Not Separated By Loading Screens

Ever since the Shadowlands map came out, people have been concerned with the fact that there could be loading screens whenever we need to go to a different zone. Will we need to take a portal and endure loading screens?

Evidence says otherwise!

3 new maps have appeared, each titled as follows:

  • [9.0 Prototype - Seamless Teleport - A](https://wow.tools/maps/2230/851/8/-1.000/1.000)
  • [9.0 Prototype - Seamless Teleport - B](https://wow.tools/maps/2231/851/8/-1.000/1.000)
  • [9.0 Prototype - Seamless Teleport - Transfer Map](https://wow.tools/maps/2234/851/8/-1.000/1.000)

It appears that they might be making these zones their own instances, but are testing a new mechanic in which we can teleport to them without a loading screen.

I would bet money that if it’s all one big island that for the alpha they just have invisible walls in place so testers don’t go places they don’t want to go yet.

I mean I wouldn’t mind the ff7 remake method. Cloud often has to hold triangle to open a door or walk thru a crevice slowly for a moment because that’s giving the game time to load whatever is coming next.

Ehh, hidden loading screens like that can work but, in my opinion, the get old pretty fast if it takes much time. I was pretty tired of the elevators in Mass Effect by the end of the game.

True. This might be the case, as the actual pixel-by-pixel map for Shadowlands has all 5 zones and Oribos on it.

Oh yeah they’re not THAT long in ff7 remake. Noticeable but not that bad
