Zone/Questline Order in all 6 BFA zones

I have just started the BFA questline for the first time as an Alliance character, and am at the point where it seems I have come to a fork in the road between two different questlines:

  1. Kul Tiras Campaign (Tiragarde Sound, Drustvar, Stormsong Valley)
  2. The Zandalar Campaign (Vol’dun, Nazmir, Zuldazar)

Should I complete the entirety of #1 before moving on to #2? Or vice versa? Is the Zandalar campaign something I should be doing AFTER I have quested through the entirety Kul Tiras, lore-wise?

Also, am I mistaken in saying an alliance character will only be able to quest in 3/6 zones (Kul Tiras only)?

The Alliance experience on Zandalar is not really a questing experience, you go there set up some bases and leave after a short introduction to the zone. The Zandalar campaign is meant to be done as you level in Kul’tiras or at level cap.

Start with Kul’tiras and do the footholds when they tell you to. Think of the Zandalar quests as a short break.
