Zone of mastery question

Is stacking 2 zones of mastery not allowed? I tried it on an alt and it didnt work. Also does the quality of blue silken lining you purchase going to affect how much mastery you get in arena?

It is, although there’s something that causes one to sometimes not load which can be fixed by taking the gear off and equipping it again, or equipping both pieces at the same time as a set or something.

No.

Are you talking about zone of focus? 90% mastery? It does stack.

It works in pve so I’d imagine it works in pvp but I haven’t tested so not certain.

Yeah it’s buggy when you’ve just recently equipped them both.

Try taking fall damage to get below 90% and then heal up. Once both are properly active though it stays “fixed” even after bouncing back and forth from 90%.

I noticed a similar thing in bgs and the scaling seems to work properly when actively engaged in pvp. Like, it’ll use its unscaled value even if the rest of your gear is scaled up to 450/489 which threw me off.

I forgot about that but yeah, another bug related to pvp ilvl scaling. Sometimes it just doesn’t scale up to 489 (650 mastery) until you re-equip it. I stopped using it in pvp for that exact reason. Can’t be bothered to fix the item every game.

My mastery is around 1249 with both equipped. It’s effected pve based I am assuming.

You need to zone into a pvp flagged area before the game registers the correct value on pvp gear embelishment. Had this happen last season on rdruid where I had two multiple times after changing around gear

hey turns out im just a moron and that ring was 450 ilvl in pvp lol.

The double zone bug beign fixed by re equipping is good to know tho

Deja vu :dracthyr_a1:

it is 100% allowed unless they recently changed it. ive been using 2 all season, getting 1300 mastery. the ilvl will change it not the quality though. it also changes from pve stats to pvp stats depending on where you are.
