Zombies separate fans of whole story from fans of part of the game

You can tell by how people react to the zombie event who is a full-time fan of the entire game and it’s story and who is just a part-time fan of part of the game.

it’s more like the event separates pve fans vs PvP. The vast majority hate PvP.

Zombies aren’t “pvp” They’re part of the story, like Brewfest.

I almost only pvp and this event blows chunks still.

I’m a total pve’er and I’m loving the event. I think once you take away the forum trolls, you will find more people like this event than don’t.

i wish the whiners would leave.

awful people, that only make the game worse.

If you become a zombie your higher ilvl gear scale higher and can kill noobs faster. It’s pvp.

Org is a complete ghost town on my realm this morning. There are 5 people including myself in Orgrimmar at 7am. When there is a plague, people avoid cities, it’s actually pretty realistic.

not too mention all the skeletons lying around

Funny, I would have thought it those that enjoy griefing their fellow players from those that don’t. I mean why else would they be out targeting the current event areas.

It’s really easy to avoid. Stop trying to take away something fun that’s only here for a week.

honestly those people who complain just wanna play the auction house 24/7 and thats the idea of “Fun” for them…

Seriously, you got literally every day of the year(s) too 1-up people on lowering yer prices by a copper or buying peoples cheap goods and selling it for alot more…

I love my Brutosaur mount, no one will get to turn me into a Zombie while I’m doing my beloved Auction Housing.

Yeah, since they moved the invasion to 3 corners instead of goldshire it killed the event on my realm. No dead bodies in sw at all, with only a few zombies making it ti goldshire, never enough to infest the city.

This was a horrible decision by blizzard, as instead of being a rogue zombie and trying to see what I alone can do it forced me Into a raid group on more populated servers, which absolutely decimated anything the raid set their mind to.

I get people are upset that yoy can’t just turn it off, but if we look at the story the scourge are supposed to be unchecked and uncontrollable. There is no way to get the scourge to function better than letting the players do the job. Just like the real life plague, its not something you can opt out of.

There are also safe havens in the game where zombies cannot go, Boralus is one of them as the guards are much too strong.

I personally think this is some of the best story design and content they have come up with in a with in a while. No xmog rewards, no mount rewards, just content made for people to have fun. A single zombie is very weak, but of people let it get out of control an army is a different story.

You’ve got every day of the year to kill people in PVP. What’s your point?

That’s where the people are. They put flagging in those areas to make us able to do the event there.

An experience to remember during the pre-release of an expansion is the difference.

Honestly doing dailies and hunting rares?
Not my idea of a event for a pre-release.
should be memorable, and part of the scourge events did involve more than just players killing each other with zombies, it literally felt like the scourge could outright kill us all if we didn’t act.

Also the player killing player comment should include pve too since we are also killing npcs as well. :stuck_out_tongue:

Translation: “I can only enjoy fighting people who don’t want to.” Gotcha.

they nerfed it to the ground and people still arent happy. sheesh.

this playerbase complains about content to do. they dont do it, and then complain that there is nothing to do.
