Zombiefest II Is Most Fun Since WOTLK

Yeah, this is something they should implement as a seasonal thing, like every All Hallow’s Eve or something, so much fun, might even be more fun than in WOTLK cause there are more places to infect. I honestly cannot see any downside to this at all.

One thing I have noticed is the Horde is pretty down with the sickness while Alliance players seem to actually try and stop the scourge plague from spreading (kill joys) obvious who is the party animals and who is boring!

I would like to point out that Korrak’s Revenge existed between WOTLK and now.

It’s all fun and games until the redditors start crying and ruin it for everyone.
I’m almost willing to bet Blizzard is going to put in some kind of “opt-out” feature.

Please answer this question fully and honestly: Why is it fun to you?

I mean, we kinda already have the idea based on your comment about people trying to “stop the scourge plague” being “kill joys”. But I want to see you say it.

This is actually the third time this event happens.

Not sure what you are hinting at, I think it is a lot more fun for players to take on the role of the NPC you cannot make AI like that so it is fun. If they limited the time as to when it happens, those who didn’t want to participate could just not log in during those times. I think it is totally different than being ganked because when you die, you actually join the ones who got you so its not you vs them its everyone together. I am totally against ganking these days, I’ll admit to having done it a long time ago but these days I pretty much just pve and solo everything sorry if you’re let down by that.

So, you feel that pretending to be an NPC is fun, even if you don’t have to adhere to NPC rules, because… it lets you attack other players, regardless of how they feel about it?

Also, unless I’m mistaken, you also think that people who try to stop you ruin the fun (they’re “kill joys”). Is that a fair assessment or would you like to clarify?

zombies do adhere to some of the NPC rules, you lose life and cannot heal, so your life is limited, the players have a tone of argent priests there to lift the curse and honestly yeah, a little in game mayhem is fun, if you’re too stuffy to realize that I feel sorry for you and you are probably projecting too much from RL into this fantasy game - I am 100% against anything remotely similar to this in RL if that is what you’re getting at

They must have added some new ones very recently, because the last time I checked there were almost none to be found (in fact, I never saw a single one).

And yet you’ve not answered why it is fun to you. You clearly only find the fun part in being a zombie, otherwise your statements made in previous posts in this thread make no sense. So, is it the ability to attack players, no matter what, the reason you find it “fun”? If not, what is it about the WoW “vehicle controls” (used in many different parts of the game) that you find so fun?

The most fun 4 hours of misery I’ve had in av

Pretty much, you want to play as a mindless zombie, but with a player’s strategic insights.

You’re already playing a Forsaken. That’s their schtick. Shouldn’t you pretty much be stuck in an uncontrollable zombie (i.e., like a player being charmed, they have no control over their actions)?

The minute you stop acting like a mindless zombie, it’s not about being part of the plague. It’s about attacking other players.

and you’re still not just telling me why you think I am having fun. Truth is, I haven’t attacked many players in zombie form, I have converted whole towns and cities of NPCs into zombies I went to Duskwood, and the Dark Portal places where NPCs respawn there were literally no other players there when I went there, the fun I got was simply watching those NPCs convert to mindless zombies.

I still think, that you’re reading WAY to much into this, you sound like you’ve been hit pretty hard by this, so maybe you need a hug, I don’t know sorry I can’t help you out bro, drink a beer you’ll feel better.

I can’t wait to set up the purge squads. The time of the Scarlet Crusade is now!

Seriously SC, call me! I’m ready to be a Paladin!

What NPC rules? There are no hard and fast rules.

False. Orc NPCs must always zug zug

But that was only fun if you were horde. The Alliance had to suffer non-stop catastrophic losses.

I’ve heard that due to the carebears whining and crying, the ghouls will now give out heart buffs and you will form drum and sharing circles with the townsfolk.

Adversity coaches will be on hand to lend words of encouragement.

No, I was asking you. Despite your projections on why I am asking you this, it is still just a question, all with a purpose to bring consideration to this follow up question: If it didn’t involve unwilling participants, would it still be fun to you?

Seeing as you’re enjoying attacking NPCs, your answer just might be “yes, it’d still be fun”.

Attacking a player zombie makes spells use the PvP versions, as it considers it PvP, not player vs NPC.
