my comment got flagged Dunno why but, yeah the event is really bad and the ghouls are really weak. I mean they literally hit for nothing. Their needs to be an incentive for the players to be ghouls as well as kill them maybe a rep or a token you get for killing players as a ghoul and in icecrown a hidden cult of the damned vendor! that you can get a pet or a mount or a title etc. Would be pretty cool and keep the event feeling fun and a reason to play it also buff zombies

So what’s wrong with what i said? if i have to be flagged to play a ghoul so be it. It’s not hurting anyone but me.
The fact of the matter is, a ghoul can’t make it 10 yards without being slaughtered. You “Quite literally” cannot fight back as a ghoul.
crz came about via a need to have players in the world.
it was never going to go away, regardless of how many people complained.
this, however, was meant to be a catastrophic event. VERY short term.
It’s not balanced at all. It’s not fun for anyone anymore because the ghouls are too weak. A nerf was needed but not to this extent.

It is fine if there is an Incentive… As long as they can’t escape the cities to greif the low level zones like they did the last 2 times a ghoul event happened.

Not to mention, you are part of a daily quest if you turn into a ghoul, you have zero chances of doing anything because you are of value. For a pre-patch world event, it’s supposed to be big…Not some crap like warlords of draenor and blasted lands pre-patch.

You get turned into a ghoul by:
Touching a plagued crate
Killing plagued roaches
Killing plagued mice
But all of these are on a global timer, so they’re never up 100%. And when they are up, they’re slaughtered in seconds. I’m sorry, but if you want to know what the hell we’re talking about, go on the PTR and look for yourself.

You clearly don’t care about this event, nor do you care participating in it, so any input you might have is worthless garbage. It’s already opt-in, meaning anyone who was against the event got what they wanted, now please, for the love of God, shut up.
