What isn’t included here is the likelihood that most of them had no idea how to do that, especially not the new players that went through this many times before deciding the game is trash and they’re never going to log in again.

Well I have seen halfhill shutdown myself. I dont need to take your word. As for cities, the skeletons everywhere have always been there right? I’ll just step over them as the packleader of the zombies comes and wipes the floor with me with 50 other zombies

I’m too busy sitting at halfhill looking for the zombie horde that is breaking the game. It was here for an hour then just blew up or despawned.
Enough posters wrote that they were going to enjoy spawn camping new players as they were ported into their capital city out of Exile’s Reach, and posters saying it happened to them and they were unable to do the few quests required to get them to chromie, that we know it was happening.

Were they able to do that? According to the Wowhead Guide on the event " Fresh recruits from Exile’s Reach are granted the debuff ‘New Recruit’, which renders Exile’s Reach recruits immune to zombie bites and blight effects." So they weren’t supposed to be able to affect those level 10s. Of course, the invasion was supposed to be limited to SW and Org as well, but guess it wasn’t.
Let’s be honest here. The main problem with this event is people who normally don’t do much in the game are being forced to see what the graveyard looks like.
Oh, they changed that? This morning players arriving from Exile’s Reach were flagged and died instantly as they were infected and killed by level 50 guards.
Just checked Halfhill and the zombies have moved to one of the buildings off to the right of the inn. Still there and killing npcs endlessly but have moved away from the market. I may be able to get my farm done. However its 4am my time. Mst people arent on. I’ll bet that whoever brought the zombies to Halfhill will probably do so again during the prime gaming hours
Maybe this is just an example of it being beneficial to level your alts to max to do farming on?

I saw a streamer use the debuff to intentionally grief people at the Bronjahm rare in Icecrown for the LuLz. This is just another example of pure lazyness from Blizz, same garbage event from 2008 in a re used zone. Shadowlands not looking good this truly maybe be the end

I mean if you played the game and tried to find solutions to your problem instead of letting it play you then you might have a better time.
There are tools in the game to prevent this stuff people just aren’t using them.

I tried playing earlier but I bet even your high and mighty character couldn’t solo the masses of mobs that were at Halfhill on my server earlier, lol

Or, just stay off the ground they have no ranged attack that can hit things in the air.
Its not a troll, people didnt like the event in 2008 why would we enjoy it in 2020
