ZG PTR Invites

Blizzard says that they released this PTR so that people could test it and make sure that there are no bugs and it also gets rid of the whole ptr for world first cause this makes it so everyone can do it…except it doesn’t because Blizzard did not give everyone access. Im in a guild with the 7th fastest clear in BWL yet no one in my guild has access to the beta. However one of my mods for my twtich channel that just hit 60 a week ago and hasn’t stepped foot in MC yet got into the beta…I’m just lost for words at this point.

go to account management and try to create a ptr account from the bottom of the games section

It’s PTR not a beta.

As Blitz says, you have to ensure you have a PTR account. If you don’t you have to create one so you can see the option in the dropdown.

  • Log in to Blizzard Account Management .
  • Select Games and Subscriptions .
  • In the Starter Editions & Public Test Regions section, select Create PTR Account .
  • Click the Create Account button.

Just remember to never EVER accidentally click your PTR account when logging in for raid night.

Being able to clear BWL clearly does not necesssarily mean they are smart enough to read how to get into the ptr.

It amazes me that people have never played on a PTR in wow. I forget that people came back just for Classic so they legit wouldnt know.

I already have clicked create a PTR account there it just makes legion PTR accounts. And yes I know where to look in the launcher for the PTR it is not there. And no it is not a beta I have had 2 gms tell me that I should have it and there are multiple forum posts saying that everyone has access.

As far as I am aware, creating a PTR account covers both retail and Classic. I created a PTR account back in earlier times prior to the release of Classic, and I have the Classic PTR on my drop down list. It isn’t just for retail.

Have you ticked PTR invites on your bnet account management section?

This is correct. If you created a seperate account (different details from your active one - you will need to swap accounts in the launcher to see it)/

Wow base without bfa expansion currently comes with all content up to and including legion. When Shadowlands launches - it will auto upgrade to WoW:BFA as the base game.

No nothing changes no matter what account I have selected I also thought that at first.

PTR invites…lol

yea its supposed to be just everyone but instead I have to fight to get my access for over a week…thanks blizz

Oh it isn’t their fault in the slightest. They make many a mistake but this is on you 100%.

The only other thing I can suggest is that you uninstall the battle.net launcher and reinstall it to see if you had a bugged launcher or possibly missed something in the download.

Who PTRs ZG…
