ZF Exploit

You can run ZF and hit multiple points in the instance where aggroed mobs will freeze then run back. People are exploiting this to do faster zombie aoe runs. These exploits ruin the economy and structure of dungeon groups.

Economies are so broken at this point it’s not even funny

In b4 entitled SpellCleave Mages brigade this thread demanding you silence yourself for calling them out.

Mages solo this it isn’t spellcleave

Posted now that you have your epic and you’re rich - by the time some of us working folk get there it will be “fixed” and you’ll still be rich.

lose lose, really

What instance isn’t buggy in classic, or classes? It seems like the focus from blizzard is on giving out suspensions to people on the forums and not fixing the exploits in game or class bugs.

Hah. I can’t definitely attest to that. I’ve spent half of the past month banned on the forums. And while I admit sometimes I can get a little fed up with people and get sarcastic, in general I’m always very pleasant to people

Regardless, my contributions to this community are apparent so it’s hilarious watching them ban me when I do more work for them than some of their employees

I seriously think this should be considered an exploit and patched immediately since it involves glitching and reseting mobs.

if you agro in an instance you should stay in combat forever, period.

These mobs, even if they can’t path to you, should stay engaged until they can path to you. This, in my opinion is a case of clear exploitation and these players will never have any punishment or have their gold removed.

just another case of ruining the economy. There absolutely should not be a way to make over 50g an hour in an instance right now except maybe mara farm if you’re very fast/lucky

DME isn’t even out for god’s sake

It’s definitely and exploit as anything that is abused without the intention of the game design is an exploit.
No I do not have my epic mount yet… haven’t even had time to hit 60.
It’s also not just spellcleae or mages abusing it… people are just doing zombie farm xp runs and avoiding these packs of mobs entirely over and over.
I won’t lie I tried it one night… honestly don’t see how people can even enjoy this, i’d much rather just run the instance normal as intended.
it’s destroying the diversity of dungeon groups at this level, economy and overall experience.

What about BRD runs where people run through the hall way, agro all the mobs then jump out the window and wait for them to de-agro.

While what you say is generally true, I don’t think it’s an absolute truth. I’m not saying this particular instance isn’t a bit dodgy with the evading but the game has often featured ‘tricks’ not too different from this that were never considered exploits in the past. Bypassing sections of dungeons is one thing but piling up mobs to aoe using evading is another.

Just some food for thought I guess.

I’ll agree some dungeons are so large that it would only make sense to be able to “escape” the mobs at a certain point. Hiding behind a pillar 1 ft from the mob though and having it “glitch” out and deaggro is just abuse.
