Considering I’ve gone to 2k in multiple expacs…honestly probably can push further on my Hunter right now considering I have like 150 rounds total played…but there really isn’t a point when my WW is more fun to play.

But truthfully I don’t need to justify rating to a scrub hiding behind his Cata Alt. It’s ok…your 2000 rounds of Shuffle while you’re stuck at 1800 will get better.

Omg…why would you do that to yourself in Blitz…I gave up when I saw I was gaining 23 CR every game at 1600 CR and my MMR was 2600.

honestly just wanted grand marshal, but I figured I would grind it out since I’m never gonna step foot in blitz ever again once I finish my last 4 grand marshall sets.

Always heard that the rbg community was “special”… and this grind confirmed it, the creatures at the top of the ladder really are something else

Makes me think… should pet’s auto drop a target that is greater than a certain distance from the hunter? Just like all other attacks have a max range, set hunter pets to drop at 40-50 yards.

I’d be ok with bm if their defensives were nerfed. They are far too tanky to have such insane constant damage.

The problem with this comparison is dot specs don’t deal damage via dots anymore. Their real damage comes from actual spells that the dots modify.

In shadows case it’s void torrent and direct damage spells via dark ascension, which doesn’t enhance their dots. The bulk of their damage is direct damage

Affliction is the same. All dots are just modifiers to make rapture do more damage. The bulk of their damage is direct damage as well. It still requires the lock to see you, and cast malefic rapture multiple times. Which any good team won’t allow

The issue with BM is the bulk of their damage is their pets, which can follow you out of range or out of LoS. While the hunter isn’t required to see you or even have you targeted. Bm is what dot specs used to be. BM also has no cast times like dot specs and has no vulnerability to interrupts, all while being 100% mobile in their damage.

I would say they’re more similar to demo than dot specs, but demo’s big CD pet can’t chase you because he’s a caster, and demo has to hard cast everything. BM gets all the benefits of dots/pets with very few of the vulnerabilities other similar specs have. On top of doing A tier damage

Pretty sure BM needs you in los to do a metric ton more damage.

BM’s fine rn. On the strong side for sure but at some point we gotta stop crying about specs being strong and realise we want all specs to sit in that tier
