What is with this “manure”.
It’s limited to 250 stacks, but the vendor wants as much as 300 for some items. Which means carrying around 2 stacks or more. It’s taking up too much inventory space.
Are we supposed to buy the “manure” and then vendor it for gold?
It’s 246 gear, which I could use on new alts, except it’s not account bound.

Need account bound and stacks of more than 250. Or decrease the cost and increase it’s sell (gold) price, so I can empty my bags and make some gold.
Where can you buy BOE gear with it? All I’ve found is BOP stuff, which I buy and vendor to reduce the number of stacks I’m carrying.
Its the same so called manure for all the stuff we have to collect and keep in our bags for making mounts and pets…or as some say send some of that stuff too an alt…but guess what over half of mats need for mounts and pets is soul bound and can’t be sent too an alt or even put in regnant bank…all it doing is clogging up my bags till I get all required mats need to make mount or pet…just like bloody stuff we had too collect on Mech Isle…same crap over and over.
These Relics need to be Bind on Account 
So, here’s the use case for the Relic gear: It can be fed to the creation catalyst, but cypher gear can’t.
so you want people who already levelled up the cypher system to get all 252 gear - to start farming for 246 gear so they can then upgrade it …
On the PTR supposedly the relics can be used to upgrade any current season gear to tier gear - that is a better system than your suggestion.
I’m not saying what the system should be, I’m saying what it is.
so that’s what they have on the PTR right now ?
On the ptr at least you can turn it into tier.
But like you cant upgrade it like pvp gear or pve gear from mythics.
Overall mythic 2s is still better.
so on the PTR they are using just the relic gear and not all current season gear to change to tier?
I think I heard someone report that. Havent checked myself.
Either way its not worth upgradingbsince you cant upgrade it.
Better of doing mythic keys like 10 and above and coverting that gear. And using valor when they choose to uncap it to a potential of 272 gear.
well i am not farming those relics and my main has all 252 gear except for the weapons and trinkets.
I really don’t like the idea of these just accumulating in my bag either - they create way way too much junk. I was going to quit last month but I wimped out on clearing out enough inventory to fit the stuff in my mail box in - have to dedicate an hour each day to do that or else I will have to pay them for another month and this game is really annoying me.
Right now it offers a unique transmog set which is good. The option to make it tier is also good. On my enchanters I can try disenchating them for mats.
They might as well add a way to turn them into another currency besides gold from selling them to the vendor.
Or maybe just turn them into season 3 dungeon gear so they can be upgraded imo with valor.
well I made good progress in inventory cleaning so things are looking up for being able to just come back for the prepatch and gear catchup then.
Question will be, if it can be changed to tier, will players take the 6ilvl drop from cypher gear to get tier sets, and will it be worth the drop for everyone with how bad some of the bonuses are.
I also recommend making alts to send your mats too. Bank alt for anything sellable. Send cloth to tailors. Leather to leatherworkers. Ore to plate.
Or just make toons and buy them big bags and send them the junk.
Some people use a whole guild bank for one character to save there stuff in.
I think they need to just make it so that when you collect 50 of them they become a sand worn completed relic or something as in how archeology works…
Sandworn relics are like a person’s appendix. It was there for a reason awhile ago, but now it’s just a left over dangly bit.
It used to take up 3 stacks, it made the zone completely unplayable. Thank the light they changed it to two.
I have 5 guild banks full of stuff and about 18 characters on two merged servers with full banks as well. I am a very bad hoarder.
