Zen Flight?

Did they literally just change something in the last day or two with Zen Flight?

I was literally logging out with my monk up in the air with ZF like i dont know…yesterday…now today when I go to log out my character falls to the ground…still using ZF, just doesnt stay afloat like it has been.

bugged and needing to take this to the bug forum…or did they just make a change to it?

Just tested this for you on my monk and hes still in the air after logging in and out.
EU servers though in case that changes things.

cool..thanks for checking…so not a change then…i was hoping they didnt. Logging out off the ground out in the world so I dont get attacked by something the second I log in lol.

The game is falling apart and the Devs dont seem to care. Each content patch brings countless bugs and broken features.

This is similar to an issue with Druid Flight Form that has occurred as long as there has been Druid Flight Form. Sometime you log in and the spell re-engages. Sometimes you log in and fall to your death. I learned long ago to always log out with something solid under my druid.

lol…yeah, i stopped logging out mounted or flying for the most part…well, more than a few feet off the ground anyway.
Just not used to ZF doing this. I guess it cant be trusted either now, lol.

It’s happening with steady flight in general. Died on my farming alt a few times cause of it.

Has your panda monk been drinking more than usual? Perhaps he’s just gained some weight and can no longer maintain zen flight without heavy concentration.

Lol…so if you cancel the log out, it stops falling.

At least you aren’t flying, hit a tree, then suddenly fall straight down, and die.

i would just not use steady flight at all, and use actual fun gameplay features that aren’t noclip in all directions

i try to help these people out in warmode by netting them when i see them

This happens sometimes with re-logging. Has happened to me before. I’m careful not to log out on my cloud.

Somewhat related to the topic: I was using Soar on my dracthyr with my friend in the squadron (the group flight thing) and it randomly kicked both of us out of drac form, plummeting us to the ground. For absolutely no reason. No phasing, no zone changing, just dropped us like rocks. Thankfully we can glide. lol

I remember in Classic, in Hardcore, when logging off on a flight path, there was a chance you wouldn’t appear on the gryphon when logging back in.

Folks legit died because they logged out mid-flight lol, and it was Hardcore, so…

Flying in WoW has always been iffy. Especially when logging out.
