I wasn’t having a good time pre-hotfix (it was an RNG fest). I’ve resigned to doing it in a few weeks after I get more gear and I’ve leveled Brann more. Which is fine, it’s probably how it was intended anyways.
The (?) difficulty is pretty manageable, 3-4 minutes a kill. But (??) definitely seems impossible currently, just from raw numbers alone. Autos hit so hard and eggs have so much health that I’m not even sure if later Season 1 gear will be enough lol

Not to mention some classes don’t have a way to manage both the DoT and the regen.

All of the delves and that fight are bugged for certain classes and specs after their hotfixes.
Even if he’s 60. Unless he can kill zekvir in like 5-10 seconds, it’s still not happening lol

592 Feral. He takes off half my life with every hit.
Constant stuns. The cocoons AND adds have way, way too much health. I’m not slouching in the DPS deparment.
Best I did was with Brann healing. but everyone says to make him DPS. He is getting shredded and will die in 3 to 4 hits without me offhealing him. Level 18 Brann.

i feel that post “hot fix” even ? isn’t doable.
I got my 2 set yesterday on my guardian druid 600 ilevel.
pre-hot fix, I see tanks doing ~$300k dps and winning this fight. they melt the cocoon between after the fear circle goes off.
I am doing 400k dps and more and the cocoon just won’t die. it’s health seems to get below 1mm really quickly and then it just seems to stop taking damage.
I seem to be able to handle maybe up to the third add spawn and then my interrupt and damage burst CDs just run out of steam.
but that cocoon just won’t die.
Until they script Brann AI to avoid frontal AOEs/near aoes, his temps pets to not just sit around and afk, this companion is screwed.
The AI should be getting out of AOEs as soon as it there an AI enemy behavior for a cast of it, it should be getting out of frontals as soon as the move starts trying to attempt it.
It should prioritize to kill the pet egg it summons.
Sorry wow developers you can’t just put low effort into the design of the ai script and call it a day.
How you decided you can just slapped the same ai script you have on players pets on Brann is beyond me 
. The bots behacior in arena have a better script than this poor design. At least there hope that this forces you to improve this function, since of the player pets also have weird functions currently.
The more interesting part is how you devs who have work with this game’s mechanics for years didn’t seems to think that putting barely any effort into the AI script behavior functions for Delves ( an expansion feature you were advertising) thought this wouldn’t be an issue.
Branns “ooh you should get out of that AOE swirlies” and then proceeds tanks every frontal/AOE until death. One of the most basic AI behaviors for this game and couldn’t even bother…

yeah his dumb dino just stands there doing nothing. He could at least run up and knock us down and lick us like dino from the flintstones.
On a side note, I am happy to see Brann is putting down random campfires now and not in the worse possible places.
My favorite was he said “webs cause spider to spawn”… Let me put this campfire right in the middle of those spider webs

My best attempt has been like mid 50% since the “hotfix” on a 607 WW monk.
I just get deleted after expending all my definsives and bran takes a couple of attacks.
Pretty much impossible if you didn’t do it the first couple days before blizzard nerfed Brann. And all the other changes. Rather frustrating to get him down to 12% ….leave to do real life…… return and now the eggs are unkillable.

My brann is level 42. I have tried with bdk, dps is just not high enough to take down the add. I have tried ret pally. Dps was higher but at ilvl608 it’s still to low. Tried it on hunter same ilvl he one shots my pet every auto attack. Not enough interrupts to go around. In phase 3 if you don’t interrupt him he will fear you indefinitely so there’s that lol… it’s just not possible at all without some kind of quirky ability like war spell reflect it’s just not going to happen.
He’s almost impossible to down now. My suggestion is to untrack the quest if you have it and leave it on the back burner until Brann is higher level or you’re better geared.
my bran is 39 im a Blood DK 614 with 4 set cant even get him to 90% lol delve’s cooked.
oh man, that doesnt sound good for my demon hunter. Glad i have a dk but that makes it seem very despressing. My dh is 601 or 603 and my dk is only 596 (i got face stomped on my dh vs the ? version) im guessing you are referring about the ?? version, are you able to kill the ? version with your dk?
