I’m currently il 600 and making less progress in the zekvir fight than I was at 580-something last week, I know they made some changes to the fight but it feels weird that I’m at the recommended item level and somehow able to do less. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Zekvir is intended to be done at a higher ilvl over the course of the season, not the very first week easily killed by all. Thats why hes the meta achievement boss.

That’s not what I’m getting at. I’m saying when I was il 580 my attempts got ~20-25% through his health bar, now at il 600 the attempts only get about ~15%, the scaling feels off, not expecting a free win
He’s still pretty busted on his 2nd tier difficulty. I’m 612 on my Prot Warrior and he absolutely shreds me even through Ignore Pain & Shield Block.
Also, given that Hero track gear only goes up to 626, I’m not sure if 14 item levels is going to actually make Zekvir doable in his current state and if it turns out he’ll require full or close to full Myth track gear in every slot to kill solo then that’ll prevent alot of people from being able to kill him on the 2nd tier.
I don’t want a free win with the Delves but Delves and Zekvir especially have really weird tuning & scaling. I did a +8 Delve on my Prot Warrior after they nerfed Brann and my Shield Slam, my most repeated ability, did about the same amount of damage overall as Brann did on the last boss. That’s absolutely insane that he’s that weak now, even when I have him at level 37.
Delves took a nerf to players to make them harder so yes zekvir was buffed as a result.
As your ilvl went up maybe he scaled up too?

Since the hotfix, Zek’vir has definitely been buffed, and Brann nerfed. Zek is much more tankier. Check out some MM hunter Youtube videos of kills pre-hotfix - DPS Brann tanked him on Tier ?? the whole fight, hunter didn’t even use a pet. After the recent hotfix, DPS Brann dies in 2 hits.
All the sweats have got their Nemesis achieve though when it was “broken”, so normal folks now get to slog it out. Such a familiar pattern, gg Bliz.
blizzard devs should do a livestream and kill him ?? with every spec in the game. i guarantee you they couldn’t
