Zekvir toy before Season 2 in mid Dec

Any tips on how best to rapidly get Brann to 60 and loadouts to solo zekvir for the toy quest before the season ends and this goes away?

Season 2 isn’t ending in December, the December patch is 11.0.7.

S2 is going to last through at least January, if not also February

I think after a certain level, Brann only levels up in bountifuls. Higher level tiers obviously equal higher exp turn out

You can do multiple bounties on multiple characters and Brann levels up with each character

I did not notice any additional rep gain on 11’s from 8’s when I was doing them about a month ago - before he hit max. I specifically did 11’s to try and get more rep but, while I don’t have a screenshot for my anecdote, I remember 8’s yields my the same rep.

But that said, grab the DMF rep boost, the reputation boost from the anniversary and try and speed run as many 8’s as you can!

You don’t need to get him to 60. Mine was at 40 or so.

I heard Shadow Priest was pretty easy, but I did it on a 601 dev evoker. I used a pvp trinket

The patch coming in Dec is still part of season 1; season 2 isn’t coming until 11.1 next year (possibly Feb?).

(unless I’ve missed some announcement?)

Mine was 28 or so.

No matter what level Brann is I was under the impression he spends most of the encounter dead. I have yet to do it but that is simply because I have not yet tried it. I am sure one day I will knock it out but Season 2 doesn’t even start till sometime in January. We got plenty of time left in season 1.

Odd i saw a post season 2 in december i think and in game people were saying to rush to get it done but i dont have enough ilvl yet gear.

We still have yet to get the .7 patch which is part of season 1. So we still have at the very least 6 weeks of season 1 left to go.

The toy is from any kill, just learn the fight, dodge, kick spittle, kill egg.

For hard mode for the dirigible skin, will have to learn the fight, dodge, kick the heal, kill egg, and find other ways to deal with spittle (snare removal, dispel, defensive etc).

All Brann is good for is dropping potions to negate the white damage in his first phase.

Your build needs a dispel or something that can remove movement impairing effects for the spit.

Always kick the heal.

The only DPS check in the encounter is his add - kill it before it spawns. If your DPS is low you can just weave CDs for this part, you can take as long as you want to kill Zek Vir himself, but the egg has to die before hatching.

Don’t spend mobility unless you have to. Like, stay close to him so you can walk out of his frontals where theyre more narrow, instead of having to use your movement abilities where the cone is much wider. Save these for when the mechanics put you in a rough position and you need to get out.

I did it recently and he would die pretty regularly in phase 2. I definitely needed to make up for the lack of cleanses until he revived, but it was not too scary.

I think he is around 48-50 for me? I don’t recall.

Was 616 windwalker. Gear and dps helps make it faster but you will have to learn the dance

For me, Brann did die quite a bit during the last phase, however, with the new Spines mechanic, I never really felt that him dying led to my death. I had time to wait for Brann to come back.

Actually, I’d put it closer to March. But, still, plenty of time.

You dont need brann at 60 to kill zekvir. I did it with like lvl 30 something. Brann at 60 will still die no matter what, he will not carry you through the fight at 60. As for how ot get brann XP, do every bountiful delve every single day. Thats it. There’s no other tricks or methods. Zekvir is purely a skill check - and a mechanic check. Do mechanic rights, and get good rng on certain things and you win.

if dps i see this alot in the videos but healer brann doesnt seem to pull aggro and stays up in all of those videos

Healer brann stands in bad things and will eventually die in phase two without heals. After a while he will get back up though.

The toy comes from doing regular zekvir “?” in his lair. This is the base difficulty.

This can be done with minimal to zero assistance from Brann and with less tha 600 ilvl with relative ease. Just dodge the mechanics, kick the cast, and kill the add. It’ll die.

Just go try it, it’ll be easier than you expect.
