622 on the disc.

Tbh you don’t have to be in the 620s to get the kill. Ilvl just helps.
Most dps are getting it at around 605, which would be very easy to obtain from delves.

Didn’t change specs, went Blood and Prot when I did it lol.

I just went in, learned the boss abilities, killed him in like 20 or so attempts.

Yes. You went in with a spec built for the fight, video reference, and a strat. IE you did not go in blind.

I’m glad for you and everyone else who has it down but you’ve already made it clear that “going in blind” means “going in with all of the information required to get the fight down provided by players who already did it.”

I did it ~609 so I’m aware. It’s behind me bruv and I’m glad for that. We clearly see an ilvl disparity in specs is my only point and this great disc player would have done it at 605 if it was reasonable for them to do so.

Is it going in blind if i watched other class/specs do the fight to see what the big deal was?

I didnt have plans or guides for my Druid. I didnt have any special talent loadout either. Went in with my ST raid build and called it a day lol

No, it’s not.

Who does this? You specifically targeted other specs and classes to see what the deal was? Doubting hard.

The day I asked if you had it down was a few weeks before the day you confirmed you had “just gotten it.”

You also said that first day you were headed out for it. So forgive me if I question the story here.

I would also like to believe I got it on my first “real” attempt though.

Oh im not saying i downed it my very first day. It took me a bit before i had the time to dedicate to it and i think i had like 37 pulls back to back before i downed it.

Im just saying i didnt swap anything around talent wise to be specific for the encounter

I honestly had no interest in the fight until you called me out

My hunter downed it with his m+ loadout too

No, I went with my blood spec because that is all I do with this toon.
I didn’t watch a video or strategy lmao.

The only thing I read online was how to make bran drop his food buff and that was the silliest part because I had to drop while flying outside to get fall damage, get inside so bran would drop the food for me to recover my HP, while my prot pal I just cast, waste mana and he drops it anyway lmao.

Yeah my estimation is that as wrong as the OP is we have a lot of people that want to inflate their skill level through their forum responses and are using the OP as a punching bag to do so.

While I don’t specifically value the word of our OP here I also doubt the veracity of many of the replies. It’s mostly cope from all sides of this discussion.

This is just GD however. Bait is consumed by people that regurgitate the same bait.

Some people are slow learners, some people are fast paced learners.

For me it took just few attempts to learn, define my strategy and then execute it perfectly. I’m glad I was able to do it very quickly, I wouldn’t stand doing more than 50 attempts.

I dislike the gimmicks I had to do (brann’s food buff) and RNG (resetting to get the damage buff instead of the speed buff).

When I did with my prot pally it was even easier that I wonder why did I suffer through those many wipes with this Blood DK.

It’s fine to admit that you utilized every resource to make the fight easier. Nobody will actually think less of you Henceforth. I certainly don’t think more of a person for an obvious denial.

We all do it in every situation eventually.

We usually do it right from the jump. Before we have even engaged the encounter.

So far we’ve gone from “I went in totally blind” to “I specifically only looked at how other specs and classes did it to refine my class/spec specific roles” and that has been hilarious to me. Not talking about you specifically but simply how the cope has shifted in this thread.

When learning a fight on my priest I certainly only look at guides built for outlaw rogues. Because future forum arguments.

Did it twice today on my ret and got him to 50% before I got bored of repeating the same thing over and over. Is there anything else mechanic wise or do I just need to drop some Adderall so I can outlast the boredom?

You don’t have it Ruck or is it just your Ret that doesn’t?

I’m honestly tempted to start offering carries for the ? variant but I doubt the market would be good for it.

I don’t have it. I only just today did the delve past 8 thing cause it’s the delve weekly.

The only real change you need to watch out for in P2 is just his web cast. It will arc through the portals he drops so you need to make sure you aren’t in the path for that.

This also means he isn’t auto-attacking you though so if you can stay in range while avoiding the portal path you can dump on him for a second. Ret is mid-range though so I guess it doesn’t matter that much for you.

Basically just do the same stuff, interrupt the heal, dispel your dot/slow, kill eggs. But I think P2 is a hair easier than P1 simply because positioning is overall easier thanks to him sitting on his hands while he does the portals.

You seem like the type that will be bored for the few attempts it takes you to get it but just get it.

Rofl, it just hit me. People would’ve been selling carries like crazy if you could still reap the rewards from solo while being grouped up

Yep. Keeping it solo prevents this.

Good thing imo.

Toxic noobs tried to be unreasonable and went into mute (just a bit late on my part, needed to realize lame trolling earlier, I thought some of them had confusion but if they persist after presented argument it became clear).
That is all.

Also I had argument in good faith and shared full experience (struggle and instruments which I used) and these people were just toxic trolls (and low key peasants),
I couldve switched to the appropriate response mode but I would get forum vacation which I dont want at the moment and I am too lazy to report them.

Best part, I will never see them again in my threads.
Silver lining even better than Z??.

Alright, I went in completely blind with no looking at guides, no flasks, etc. I used one of those candle pots just to be safe. I cleared it 1st go on the ez level. Granted UDK is very tanky for a dps spec. I didn’t really even play well…

I imagine the hardmode one is a far cry more difficult.

The ? mode I did from 2nd attempt.
