Zek'vir nerfs have been reverted in 11.0.5

I was waiting for the new Dark Ranger rework to solo zekvir on ?? difficulty and the most annoying part of the fight for me, the claw smash, is back to a 1.9 second cast when they had nerfed it to 2.5 seconds on both difficulties.

That 0.6 second different is huge. It goes from me basically always avoiding the claw smash to just constantly getting clipped because i’m like 0.1 seconds away from clearing it.

Im sure its even worse for a lot of other classes out there because I’m already so mobile and I’m totally used to moving while attacking.

I’m really disappointed in a lot of stuff with this patch so far I got zekvir down to like 15 million health left and I died because I didnt notice the spittle dot and now that I know the claw smash is back to 1.9 second cast time I don’t even know if I want to keep trying until they either confirm theyre reverting the nerfs or they admit this is not correct and put the nerfs back in.

Looks like a lot of changes from the last couple weeks/months never got rolled into the PTR patches. So when the .5 patch went live all those changes reverted.

another thing to add to the pile of screw ups with this patch. Right next to missing floors in old raids and quests not giving the rewards they’re supposed to.

Zekvir’s claw smash was never nerfed as part of the changes. It was fear cast time, add hp, boss hp, and add spawning animation. Seems exactly the same as it should be to me, just did it to check.

They also made it impossible to down mythic Neltharion in Aberus due to the .05 patch.

This has been a thing at least since Legion. They apparently have no QA system that would verify hotfixes are also applied to the working code version.
