just tried a 5 man. we are 595-603 ilevel.
the adds just would not die.
we had a try where we got feared out of the room and boss reset. add didn’t
it took most of a minute to take just that add down with nothing else to do.
even when we tried to cc adds, brann broke the cc.

Your suppose to break the egg, the add coming out is a bit like a soft enrage. It’s a dps check, although it can be a little mean on melee considering Zekvir always puts his AoE on the dumb thing.
It’s week one. Get better gear and try again.

on one hand, yes, I agree with you.
however, the prerequisite for the level one zekvir is a tier 8 completed delve. i can complete an 8 with no deaths.
if zekvir is the next level up, it shouldn’t go from deathless to impossible. i am ilevel 595. 5 more ilevels isnt the problem. the tuning/scaling is.
before these recent buffs, players with my ilevel were doing ?? zekvir.
Did it pre nerf, And I can safely tell you that some specs like spriest, even with mythic palace gear, will be absolute unable to solo this one as it is right now. They messed up Brann so badly that it’s not remotely possible to do it right now, and many specs will still have that issue even with mythic palace gear.
I did the ? and apparently it’s harder now. My heart was beating through every orifice. Even the supposedly easy mode is rough man even with prenerf Brann.
Isn’t the recommended iLVL like… 623 or something? Why are people complaining about content that is supposed to be the pinnacle of Delve difficulty this season when they don’t have the proper gear? Do you go in Mythic Nerub’ar with 595-603 iLVL and expect it to be possible?

I easily zero death a delve 8. also recommended for 600.
i am certain that better gear will get me there. but the encounter is not tuned as something a bit harder than a delve 8.

just did this a few hours ago at 599 ilvl on my DK >.> was a long fight but not impossible
Bet you your Brann did most of the work by holding aggro. Thats the problem everyone is having solo.
bran was set as a healer and never got aggro >.>
I did the first tier after they nerfed Brann’s ability to survive the fight. Thankfully, Fury can handle face-tanking him on that tier, so it was really just a matter of focus-interrupting the spittle and getting the eggs down in time.
Second tier is actually impossible solo for any warrior spec right now. The player can’t tank and Brann can’t tank. I’ve seen one or two people on my server that already have the void dirigible appearance, but it was clear based on their achievement date that they accomplished it prior to the massive changes to Brann in this encounter.
Yep, prior to one of the many hotfixes Brann would basically “tank”
And all you had to worry about was killing egg and kicking spittle.
The fight was made trivial and now those who didnt as you say “exploit early” are being punished with the fights actual difficulty .
People are now saying “two” players is the best for most delves/Zekvir in terms of the scaling. It was never meant to be steamrolled with a team of 5
yeah the scaling is def bonkers that fight took me 4 attempts and on the 5th took me like 10 min lol long fight and a lot of cooldowns
If we were able to kill the final boss of delves on the hardest difficulty on the first reset you and I both know everyone would come here saying “WHAT DO WE DO NOW?”, “DELVES TOO EASY”.
Be thankful he needs gear to dps the add down in time.
im not trying the hardest difficulty. the final version of this requires that you unlock an 11. i havent even tried a 9 yet. my skill and gear are nowhere near good enough.
i’m trying to kill a 600 ilevel encounter with gear that has easily cleared other 600 ilevel content. I am all up for a challenge, but it feels super bad that if the encounter was tuned the way it was just the day before I posted this, I would have completed it.
Yea everyone who missed out on doing this pre hotfix disaster really missed out on how easy it was with OP Brann.
