Im struggling to get this guy down on ?? difficulty. I can manage to get him about halfway before getting screwed by rng add/ability placement.
Anyone been able to complete this and have any tips? Talent setup, etcetera?
cleared it on my first pull, don’t know what to tell you other than it wasn’t anywhere near mage tower in terms of difficulty, i used pvp gear and my sanlayn/unholy setup meant for epics.

You run with Brann as heal or DPS?

The problem is Ilvl, unholy damage takes some ramp up time and the timer for the eggs doesn’t scale well for it. That and our pets are literally brainless most of the time. It’ll prolly have an easier time at a higher ilvl. My best attempt was a 25% on ??. I’ll have a higher tier crafted weapon in a couple of days and maybe a decent vault so I’ll try again. Timing burst and interrupts is the key to the fight, and dodging bad.

The ramp up is definitely the problem. I dont seem to ever have enough cooldowns to unload for how many eggs spawn. Im going to hit 615 before i try again. On top of that, apparently unholy is getting a nerf soon.
Sidenote, might wanna add another question mark on the title.

Unholy might be one of the easiest specs to do this once you know what to look for.

Key things;
- Try to keep Zekvir in center of room
- Avoid all ground aoe.
- Save mindfreeze to Interrupt Zevkir’s Carapace cast.
- Switch to Web Cocoon add immediately.
- Save AMS in case spider hatches, use when it casts “Web Terror” to block its stun. Use Icebound Fortitude as a backup in case AMS is on CD.
Keep Zekvir set as your focus target so you can interrupt without having to change targets.
You could completely replace mind freeze with this macro if you wanted to; /cast [@focus] Mind Freeze

Where did youg et that unholy would be getting a nerf soon? Its not an outlier as far as overperforming in any form of content currently.

Went back in and downed ?? today after using 636 Weapon. EZ. There is a bit of RNG with brann positioning you’ll have to play around with, and possible bad frontal cones, but overall not to bad.
