Agreed about Nazjatar and Mechagon. Both of those had a certain charm. ZM…eh. I hated that place. Not a huge fan of Zaralek, though the art team knocked it out of the park like they usually do.

Does it even drop gear?
I’ve killed it twice, got nothing, and have seen no one get anything in chat messages.
Anyways, once I’m done with the MSQ next month (really, LFR timegating now affects even questing… FFS), I think I’ll peace out until the 10.1.5 dungeon, then, it’s the long waiting game until 10.2 or whatever comes out before 11.0.

It does, but it apparently doesn’t show anyone else. I haven’t actually had a drop since week 1, and I only got those drops because it was bugged to give me them lol I didn’t know that at the time though.
Just wanted to point out that this is patently false. There is a one-time “issue” at renown 12 where your existing Barter Bricks lose about a third of their value when you initially make the switch to Boulders, but Boulders are still undoubtedly the faster way to buy Ponzo’s wares and you make up the value loss of Bricks in the end by a long shot.
If you want to try to farm up enough Bricks to buy Ponzo’s stuff without Boulders, be my guest, but the weekly hard cap on Brick/Boulder loots will make you take far longer than anyone farming Boulders.
Mobs and rares are too strong to solo, so yeah people won’t bother. If there’s no random tank pulling elites or the rare, people will stand around and do nothing, or they will pull and die anyway.

Yeah, this is an issue, too. Even as a BM hunter, these rares eat my pets for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Why are you making this about PVP players? They are a small portion of wow community. PVP players dont care about PVE. All you do is pvp all day.
I don’t remember asking for rares to show up on a rotation with low droprates or events that take full raid groups what you still won’t finish because they’re bugged.

I didnt made it about pvp, said that twice only.
And also there are a considerable ammount of players who ONLY play pvp, i think they deserve some space.
Another point is that pve = raid or m+, open world content, reputation, etc… is not pve, both players can and do play those contents, not mentioning softcore/casual players.

The simple solution:
if the cavern quests gave a decent amount of wyrm crest fragments people would be all over it like you wouldent believe, but because of how the gear upgrade system works, and with wyrm crests needed all the way up to the last hero level, people are instead just spamming 11’s and 12’s and 13’s. put big wyrm crest fragment rewards in the cave it will spring to life with geared players.

It’s dead because blizzard nerfed the one repeatable activity keeping the zone going.
The minute i read those hotfix notes I knew the zone was finished.
Blizz wanted to control how their games played but now it’s killed off any point to even playing.

What is the primary activity?

Absolutely garbage zone, garbage mobs, garbage rares with garbage quests.
This idiot dev team is focused on making sh_1_t as unfun as possible and punishing players that don’t raid.

Your server must be either low in pop or you’re playing during dead hours. I logged off about an hour ago and people were hunting those rares like vultures whenever they showed up.
I wish there was more to do. I’m quick approaching a wall. And may have to resort to older content to entertain myself.

it’s an open world dungeon.
I mean if this is really the case that intern did a pretty decent first pass. I would offer them a full time job and asign them another intern to their team to flesh out more stuff.
ZC is a fun little zone. The niffen would have been a better sub faction then a major patch faction. It’s almost like a lot of content was cut and the underground mole person version of the tuskarr where promoted lol.
It’s definitely not patch worthy. Most of the development seems to have been on the raid and balancing side of things.
I do think the elite quests should be turned into Solo Quests in Zaralek Caverns.
