Camping the zone for 6 hours straight now today, waiting on Caldera and Aberrus rares to pop for a chance at a few missing manuscripts.
Not a single rare spawned anywhere in the zone
Again, not a single rare has spawned in 6 hours.
I’ve camped for the last few days and the results are similar (shorter sessions however).
Oddly enough… I do see some rares in Warmode come and go.
[edit] Yep, Warmode seems to rotate normally. In the zone for 20min and 5 spawned rares have called out just fine.
So either I’m constantly being phased around, or the rare timers are broke post-“fix”.
Either way, please look in to this!

Having the same issue here almost a month later. Ive waited for rares to spawn for 3 hours today. Nothing has spawned. Everyone that was camping with me was also complaining, thinking its a phaisng issue. Not sure whats going on there.

Edit: seems to be only in non war mode that they arent spawning, ive been told they spawn fine in warmode.
This needs a bump; some rares spawn but others NEVER DO. Subterrax, Emberdusk, and General Zskorro only ever spawn (needs luck) when the servers do the weekly reset. Otherwise they never spawn anymore for the rest of the week. It’s been this way for the last 3 weeks.
Recently i’ve got these 3 to spawn normally on a52 and moonguard on nonwm but I have had excruciating days with zero spawns for hours and hours
zone spawn rare lists seem to be really wonky and they are desynced with the active events, something in the zone is terribly broken

Something in the zone is definitely terribly broken and if Blizzard can’t get it to work right then they should just revert it to the way it was before.

bumping as well, I have been trying to farm my last drake appearance from the zone, and just feels like nothing spawns ever. Certainly not the things I’m targeting. Something definitely feels off.

Same problem here. Rares don’t spawn with the emote and/or rares don’t spawn at all. Did they increase the spawn timers or is this a bug? I have been here on and off a long while and it takes forever for a few to spawn and randomly it seems, I’ll arrive to the spawn point after the emote and the rare won’t spawn at all. I also had flowfy despawn while I was just out of aggro range waiting for assistance. I though they only despawned if no players were near?
I’m trying to complete Cavern Clawbbering and it’s a nightmare!

Zaralek rares are often announcing their spawn with an emote, but never actually appearing. This has happened to me six times on Karokta since the weekend. Here’s video proof:

It’s bad enough we get forcefully evicted from our shard, worse that the rares are on a ridiculous spawning/kill schedule that needs a spreadsheet to track, even worse that they’re bugged and never spawn, but the worst is when they stop respawning till reset. I’ve sat in the same shard for 8 hours on days Karokta is up, and no spawn.

Same issue as of today and yesterday! There are little drogbars whose awake time I’ve been monitoring. They were disappearing. My current theory is that you must kill things in an area at least every so many minutes to keep that shard up… Who knows really though!
Edit: After stating this to the zone and attempting to kill things in just my area every 5 minutes, rares began to appear in the zone! It may very well be that you need to be actively killing monsters for the events to happen!!!

Can confirm that non-war mode is not generating rare spawns. Tried for four days hanging out for six hours a day while studying…. And nothing spawned anywhere. Switched to war mode and there were five rares up including the one I wanted.

Can confirm that this is still happening - sitting in a shard in Zaralek that I can’t seem to leave where the last rare spawned 3 hours and 42 minutes ago. The “Events” seem to be spawning, but not rares.
I never use war mode and was able to find enough rares to finish my achievement several days ago. I’m not saying it’s not broken in some way, but it’s not universally broken. Some shards are probably just bugging out.
Yeah, it seems to be shard related - but considering that it’s not a crazy populated zone, it can be annoying ending up on a “Broken” shard trying to get off it.

Twice so far I waited 1 hour in the zone without any rare spawn. plenty of stupid event however. Spend 15 minutes in the zone in war mode, saw 3 rare spawns, all taken by horde obviously. Can Blizzard fix that or put that achievement in a PVP meta if you need to PVP to have them spawn?

So I have been camping for Kob’rok to spawn. Finally saw it spawn and about to attack when the 2 of us that were there got phased out for no reason and the rare was gone.
I get that some changes needed to be made. But this is ridiculous. No one should have to camp for hours for these silly rares.
I don’t think that this is working out the way that Blizzard intended it to. And will you please fix us getting randomly phased for no reason.
