Tested both togwther again on ptr. Both divine shield and regeneration can be usex together while in combat…
So was EMFH, for YEARS, did you complain about that then???
Wait a race gets a full heal that cant be stopped when used with divine shield, turtle shell, frost trap, sheep, sap, blind, paralyze, intimidating shout…ect in pvp but the other race gets its crappy knockback disabled? HAHAHA
My belf gets a better version of the Regen racial. Except it has a different name. Flash of Light. Does the same thing and the heal doesn’t break on damage.
Nah. Zandalari could bubble regen itself then use the flash of lights on a partner since you can only cast a couple.
I can do the same thing with flash of light. Put my mana-regen buff on myself and heal away. Or I just use word of glory. Works even better.
Can only cast like 4 flashes and blessing of wisdom doesnt regen mana fast enough to let you do that.
I can just use word of glory and heal multiple people up to full that way for free though.
Word of glory gets two charges and needs 3 holy power for each. Zandalari could still just bubble regen and save word of glory after the bubble since its instant.
LMAO still an insane racial and if you say it is nerfed to the ground then that is shows you how bad Alliance racials are. Must be nice to have a nerfed to the ground racial that is still one of the better overall ones. I guess only Alliance OP racials actually get nerfed to the ground that end up pretty bad.
Yeah it’s pretty OP. Blizzard has made up their minds, so it’ll get nerfed in the next couple of months, some players will say “we told you so”, and some players and Blizzard will pretend the feedback never happened.
Yeah, damn that cannibalize racial for being so OP.
Which heals health And mana.
7% health and mana every 2 seconds for 10 seconds AND requires a corpse vs 100% health over 6 seconds. Pretty crap comparison bro.
Only a terrible player can’t see the superior cannibalizes.
Just to play devil’s advocate here there’s plenty if ways to pull it off in pvp combat. As a warrior a storm bolt or intimidating shout would suffice. Not to mention a slow and LoS maneuver. As long as they dont have a way to break CC it’ll be a clutch heal.
I assume the racial is per second so you get 16% health back per second. Just getting it off for 3 seconds is probably enough to save you.
It’ll be harder to use during raids IMO. If you can find a spot to pop it where there is no damage you might pull off a clutch save for yourself but it’ll be pretty niche for that.
Edit: The racial is basically like old school bandages, but on steroids. If you were old school PvP I guarantee you found a way to use them even if you didn’t always get the entire channel off.
Mana is not nearly as beneficial as it used to be when WoW released. If you’re not a healer you’ll never cannabalize for the mana.

3 seconds will get you a ~30% heal.
Even so, its still a niche scenario to counterplay. PvP scenarios will need to utilize greater caution if Zandalari + Paladin proves to be too strong.
The concern people have is that Zandalari Paladins will have the best methods of self-recovery than any other class and race. Its racial is better than the Draenei’s. Which is only 20% of their own health that can be used on others or themselves.
The viability of this racial is strong in PvP and PvE scenarios. People might say its trash just because it breaks on damage. But they’re refusing to see the bigger picture how strong it can be. Especially for classes that lack additional self-healing options.
Combine this racial with a long duration stun; and you essentially have a near reset button for yourself. Hammer of Justice? Blind? Kidney Shot?
The counterplay will need to assure some form of damage is on a zandalari paladin 100% of the time. Whether it be a dot, a pet, or some continuous damage to pressure them to waste it.
How so? It’s 100% health over 6 seconds?
On wowhead the effect #1 states 17% health back per second

You get zero healing for the first full second. So after 3 seconds, you get 2 tics of healing.
In theory, if you start the channel and get interupted 9/10ths of a second in, the ability is on cooldown and you received 0 healing.
