TLDR:
Would I be able to complete “Zandalar Forever!” on one character and the War Campaign and be exalted on another and still have access to the Zandalari when they’re released? Or does the character that does the achieve have to be exalted as well?

I just realized that ZF progress isn’t account-wide and for the longest time I thought it was. I did all 3 zones of Zandalar fully, but on 3 separate characters. The one that completed Zuldazar specifically is also the one nearly done with the 2nd part of the War Campaign and the one exalted, however, I really don’t want to have to do Nazmir again. I honestly love the zone, but it’s incredibly long compared to Vol and Zuldazar. If able, I want to be able to do Zuldazar and Vol’dun on my toon that’s finished Nazmir instead of doing Vol’dun and Nazmir on my toon that’s only done Zuldazar, though is the one who’s exalted and nearly done with the War Campaign.
Pretty sure you have to do it all on one toon because reasons.
ZF isn’t Meta, and neither is Tides of Vengeance. The rest of the war campaign is, however, and so are the individual zone questing achievements. So you need to have whatever toon is exalted complete ZF and Tides, and you should be good.
Anyone having issues on race-changing with the required achievements already completed on the toon?
I only run one Horde toon so I know she has all the ZF stuff on her. As well as ToV. And yet…even though trackers say I have all the requirements for unlocking Zandalari…I don’t. No new trolls for me, since I can’t figure out what Blizz thinks I’m lacking. Kinda sucks, because the real reason I’ve slogged thru Horde this expansion was for a Zandalari troll (I hate Sylvanas and the whole Lich Queen storyline).
I’m having an issue where I changed factions recently to Horde…I have credit for the “Loremaster of Zandalar”, which includes “The Throne of Zuldazar”, “Secrets in the Sands”, and “The Dark Heart of Nazmir”. However, I do not have credit for those achievements separately, and they’re all also needed for “Zandalar Forever”. So from the achievement tracker it looks like I have to complete all of those achievements again, even though I have credit for them with the “Loremaster of Zandalar” achievement from my faction change.
Just realized I should probably posted about this issue using the character actually having the issue, which is this shaman and not my hunter.
I assume you’ve gone to the embassy in orgrimmar and there’s just not a quest there for you?
I have all 3 as well but they are red saying I haven’t got them. But on my toon on the achievements page I have all 3 done.
Can’t be a bug. There are no bugs in WoW right:(
I’ve had similar problem, tried to create a ticket regarding this but have not gotten any answers so i’m doing them all over again. I guess the game doesn’t recognize it as the “same character” or something along those lines. Even one of the achievements had a completion date and i think i have to re do that questline too. Which sucks.
