Not to be that guy…but if they really canned Ythisens, the one CM that actually talked with us, but they keep Lore around…no bueno.
You will be missed, Mr. Yak.

What is y’alls deal? You cannot sit with one hand and say the game suxs, push for unsubs, then cry when the axe falls. This makes me laugh.
Choices have to made in every world. This is so simplistically obvious it goes without saying. Its a “given,” pointing it out makes you sound like you are in high school.
His pay wasn’t the issue, it was job description. You didn’t read the earnings report did you? Its states explicitly they will be cutting non-development positions to mitigate overhead, presumably because of the expected lower revenue 2019 will bring because no big titles are coming out, just Classic. He got axed because they are axing CS staff and CMs.
They are positions that directly engage the player base. Less CS and CMs means more automatic moderation of forums and chat, longer ticket times, fewer tickets getting resolved and communication with the Devs will actually get worse.
The jobs they cut directly relate to the player’s experience. Obviously, the player’s experience isn’t a priority.
Oh, you again…
OK, blah blah blah
Ya, sorry for the facts, I know how they upset all four of your cow tummies.
I never read your post…just saw blah blah blah
Stop making so much sense.
This is almost as bad as people who don’t understand how tax returns work.
I’m convinced you’re a troll, and your trolling doesn’t belong on this thread.
If not? Well keep your “Horde Favoritism” preaching to your self for once, alright? It has nothing to do with this thread. Hundreds of people lost their jobs and dreams today, and the only thing you do in regards to it is this?
Well… This is bullcrap.
So sad to see Ythisen go, the one CM that actually was present.
The only CM that felt like he did his job. So sad. We will miss you.
I thought the customer support side was needing more people. I honestly don’t know what to say. Hundreds of people have left in the past few weeks with new severances being made available and pushed. Now 8% cut against the wishes of them and their colleagues, as well as the consumers. Blizzard was turning a good profit. Some games are a little rocky right now, but that’s just the industry. This lay off spree is wrong on so many levels.
You will be missed ;w;
You very much need to get a grip.
We are all just passengers on this Titanic. Feel free to blame the guys who designed the ship and the ones steering the ship and even the iceberg, but all we players ever did was buy a ticket.
People going under is OUR fault? Because we complained about being on a sinking ship?
Blame the folks who had control please.
You are also blaming the wrong ones when it was J.P Morgan and his alliances. That ship was taken out with a torpedo, along with very important figures that were opposed to establishing the Federal Reserve (Benjamin Guggenheim, Isa Strauss and David Astor)
Guess who was supposed to be on the Titanic, but cancelled last minute?
J.P. Morgan.
The following year The Federal Reserve Act passed backed up by J.P. Morgan.
Point is the decision makers are playing a dirty game and we all pay the price in the end.
Wait…
…you talking about the Titanic?!
I don’t think I’ve heard this one before, and I’ve honestly thought I’ve heard them all.
check it out. Very interesting perspective.
no sir, these people are getting very generous severance packages and assistance in finding their next job. It’s not like blizz is just throwin these fools out in the street
Well, color me surprised. That jack and rose didn’t live a long and happy life together because of the fed. /shrug
If it’s true, then the common thread is that scummy people are still backstabbing for money, control, and power. It doesn’t matter if you’re in the halls of power…or running a “small indie game company.”

He was handsdown my fav CM for sure!
Facts very true they are more then well off for sure.
So with them having no CM now, I guess there goes the last hope for any communication or consultation with the community.
I feel so bad for him, I wish there were something we could do. The future of this game and company grows bleak.
And with him goes a multitude of reasons for us to even bother with the forums.
