Ysera Model Update

It’s probably been talked about already.

But can we get a Ysera Model Replacement Update for our characters that have done the quest where she appears at least?

I mean the loading screen for DF uses her model.

And I won’t lie, it’s cool going to Dragon soul and seeing the aspects having their new models.

But then you look at Ysera and her model does NOT go to the new one. Also why is the Lady of Dreams Holoviewer toy from 10.1 of all things using her OLD model, and not the nice new one?

Like in Suramar if you do the quests, Thalysra will change for you. So can’t we have it set to where at the very least doing the Ysera quest will unlock her new model inplaces where her old one was?

The new Ysera model is nice. Alexstrasza uses her new model for the quests with the red dragonflight in the Twilight Highlands so why not her.

Cuz in that case its a hologram of how she was in the past. Before all the Shadowlands stuff changing her.

I do think its cute her tail now actually looks like a pinecone got glued to the end of it. Since I remember people joking about the dragon pinecone tails in the past.

I was gonna mention how/why this was Ysera, but someone beat me to it, lmao.

Then why are the Holoviewers for Alexstraza and Nozdormu using their updated models?

SAME. The Greens and Night Elves have suffered so much. Most of the Ardenweald Scenes get me too, lmao.

Updating her nightelf form makes sense since Alexstrasza’s been updated away from their matching bikini sets outside of the old cinematics.

For her dragonform they could do a texture swap and replace all the blue winter queen magic so she could use her new model but id prefer they use that retexture to give Merithra an aspect appropriate form. Maybe remove yseras moon crown from it but retexture the rest to be more emerald themed and give the model to her daughter.

The Visage/Night Elf form is the one I’m referring to, honestly.

Merithra and the new Black Dragon Aspect will eventually get Aspect forms, when the Tyr Storyline/Oathstone situation is finished and they can obtain aspectral powers again.

Plus if you believe the rumors they’ll also elevate a 6th flight at that time.

Her new model has Ardenweald aesthetics applied to it, which wouldn’t make sense in events that take place pre-Shadowlands.

Hrm, well at the very least they could still update her model in the Holoviewer, since you wouldn’t see the Ardenweald stuff.

They could also update the model of her that appears inside of the Shadowlands Expanion, at the very least.
