What Strangers would she have to be around in a simple short story if it couldn’t be achieved in game? Like doubt her Auntie Alexstrazsa is a stranger who also needed be seen grieving for Ysera for her appearance in Shadowlands to make any damn sense.
Yuh super busy being off screen doing something that was clearly not that important if Ysera had the time to come get 360 no scoped with a corrupted tear of Elune in a questing zone.

BFA continued the story somewhat once Nzoth showed up. The green dragons and druids were stretched thin and barely had any time to actually grieve. Hence why Merithra got more into the spotlight during the BFA part.

She is in the questline for Val’sharah when her mother is killed. You come across her in the temple of Elune where you pick up the tear and then go back to Dalaran.

I do and even watch lore videos in case I do miss something and yuh nothing not even a smidgen of Character development.
Like I do not care about her and mote then likely the General WoW player does not care about her because unlike Wrathion and Chromie there has been like zero real character development for Merithra showing up very little in game and as far as I’m aware not at all in Books like she doesn’t even have her own special model for her visage just a generic Night Elf with NPC options.

You don’t have to care about her. There is lore there for her. You just missed it.

I disagree. I am a huge Ysera fan and our Ysera fan club is going to boycott you and your boise. We’re going to take out Satyr poop and leave it under your dinner tables. 
Find big sweaty Orc peons and leave them under your bed. 
Also find dirty unwashed goblin socks and stick them in your closets.

She’s not an aspect anymore, cause she died. Her child is set of to take the role. Even after she’s resurrected.

Yeah ysera lost her seat as Aspect when she got brought back by the winterqueen. No worries though she’s got a very good reliable replacement who like whomever wins the black dragon seat will become a new aspect like how Kalec took over for Malygos. On an entirely different note though if we do eventually lose Nozdormu can we make Chromie the new bronze aspect? Pretty sure they’re a popular member of the bronze flight besides the fact I think they may of taken the whole male dragon female visage fact away from Chromie making them fully female but idk for sure as that’d be quite a dangerous move
I’m sure Chromie or maybe any children Nozdormu has would be next in line. I’m a tad rusty with Nozdormu lore so I can’t recall if he has any prominent kids in lore.

well I wasn’t 100% sure as when they’re in dragon form they still sound feminine but it may of been Blizz cutting corners on voice acting
I have a neat take: What if Ysera’s trip to the silver forest purified her of the Titanic Taint and she’s able to call the other aspects on their BS.
Remember when we went to Tyrhold and created a new body for tyr, which looks surprisingly like Silver Age cosmic Marvel comics villains? And all the aspects in attendance just started simping for him left and right?
Well what if something like that happens again and Ysera is all “No… that’s not what happened at all… what’s wrong with you?”
IMO Tyr is going to be the BBEG this expac. There’s certainly a lot pointing that way. Also Galakrond’s bites make you evil and unalive, and Tyr famously got his hand bitten off.
