You missed the mark on basically everything despite saying you’ve heard what the community wants. We wanted a permanent era TBC server. Not a progression era server that’ll eventually move past TBC into wrath yet again. Nobody cares about Rumble. Putting starcraft characters in hearthstone? Really? REEEALLLY? MoP Classic? Does that come with a side of 1.2 years of content droughts?
Y’all are more tone-deaf than a monkey fart at a funeral.
They’re so disconnected. Someone who spends like 10 minutes a week on forums or reddit could’ve made better decisions. It’s past the usual “The devs dont even play their own game”, its on another level now.
to that i will simply say this…
Trump voice: “Wrong!”
there were tons of polls conducted online with the classic community and all of which i saw by an overwhelming majority voted for a TBC Era realm over Fresh Classic, Classic+, and Fresh HC. (I voted for Fresh TBC HC as an option usually)
Yeah I think the general consensus was that people wanted a permanent TBC era server because the original TBC Classic Progression server felt rushed due to streamer complaints about being bored. While I think that’s partially true, I think Blizzard wanted to hurry up and get into WotLK Classic so they could finally start selling the WoW Token.
it’s like 10 people max who want to believe they’re part of some huge coalition lol TBC stinks. yeah it’s better than wrath but that’s not saying much.
People said that about Classic WoW too, cool opine.
It’s astounding that an entire expansion in your mind has no following of people that enjoy it the most. dented…
Theres hundreds of likes on the TBC Era thread
Do me a favor, go up the the little search option on the top right of the forums, type in TBC, scroll until you stop seeing people talking about a TBC Era or TBC classic server… youll be there for a while
lern to forum loser…
Classic goal has always been to milk the ‘old school’ players.
By starting in Vanilla, they guarantee 2yrs of subs to get to TBC, which then gets them 2 more years of subs.
Four years vs two years of sub money for the same product. - The bean counters mathed it, and figured they’ll earn more doing it this way than just releasing a TBC Era server.
100% I’ve seen way more ppl wanted fresh era then tbc and ppl I talked to said they really don’t want tbc. This echo chamber some ppl are in thinking Tbc had this huge following is crazy.
I’d be curious how they would manage arenas, which would maybe be a reason I’d check it out. I thought I really would have liked TBC, since I enjoyed it a lot the first time around, but TBC Classic was kind of meh for me. I took a break from WoW after Phase 2 until Wrath prepatch.
I do think that it’s nice though that they are offering so much variety. It’s as though there is really something for everybody, yet of course people still find things to complain about (as always).
