I received a green quality Stolen Gift instead of Stolen Present rare quality. The character I did it on was lvl 65. is the rare present only for max level or is this bugged? Looking to see if any 70’s have completed and got the green or blue gift

My quest reward in the list is showing a green quality reward at 70. So dunno.

Don’t remember afterward got sent to Father Winter to get another present but believe one was blue and one was green.
none of the good previous rewards drop from the green gift according to wowhead. The blue gift can contain previous years gifts.
Is lists both. but I cant imagine this would be for 70 only, thats just seems a little ridiculous

I guess there is no point and going through all my alts for attempts to get missing items from previous years for the green gift. I will probably submit this as a bug just to be safe
In the past the Blue gift was for max level and alts below that got the green one. I have not tested this year.

the expansion just launched about 2 and a half weeks ago, i can’t imagine them to put a lvl 70 requirement for the blue gift because people are still making their way through. I am still not 70 only 66 now. I just wondered if the blue did actually drop for any 70 or is it still green
Incorrect … In the past it was max level from the “previous” expansion until last year when they (Ion) nerfed Christmas, as they have again this year.
This is the NEW norm, not the old norm !!!

I haven’t done the quest yet, but on a 60, the reward shows as a blue gift.

yeah just checked on one of my own 60’s. Blue reward is showing. gonna go try to complete now. Why DF would drop a green…idk lol. I also have a low level alt, 31 who completed the quest which received a green present, but I had expected as much due to his low level. as of right now 60 seems to award a blue gift. I will check other level alts and report back
Yeah, I see there is already a bug report confirming 50-60 getting blue gifts while 61+ getting green. So hopefully this will be fixed soonish.

I am thinking I should wait on this then until they fix it! Ugh. Also flying on a normal mount is all kinds of strange after getting the hang of dragon riding.
seems like you kind of get screwed if you advanced your alts past 60. I haven’t had a whole bunch of time to play as of late, so only 2 characters are past 60, working on the story campaign and all. guess i can go do it on the 60’s and 50-60’s i have though
