I think the cinematic killed it, but I was expecting more time for Holly to discuss WoW. I guess because it is not a BlizzCon, all the time is shortenened.

I hope this expansion is not like having Sylvanas 2.0…meaning multiple expansions of a antagonist. Your thoughts?
Something about it seemed off, not quite sure how to put it, the quality didn’t seem there like it used to. They looked a bit weird while talking and their facial animations.
I think I would’ve liked it more if I hadn’t already known what the expansion was going to be about. Nothing that happened was exactly a surprise which kind’ve killed it a tiny bit for me.
Glad my boy Lor’themar is good and healthy and ready to kick rears.
I suspect they’re Tyr’s Guard, given the Titanic-looking patterning on the shields.
I think there might be more class combos announced in the Deep Dive, and looking at the new Amani models in the gameplay trailer, I wonder if we’ll see more allied races in the expansion?
It was fairly predictable. I don’t sit an analyze these things though. As a trailer for the upcoming expansion. It does its job and introduces us to where the story is going.
The feature list in the “gameplay” trailer was less predictable and not as fulfilling.
We will probably be fighting the same antagonist until Last Titan. It is a trilogy. We could fight her boss but she just had him killed.

I was underwhelmed. It looks like reused cinematics and nothing exciting tbh.
Nothing new was revealed that most people didn’t already know.
If this was their big “reveal,” the game is in for a very bumpy ride.
Why would it be a bumpy ride just because we already knew the things that were going to be coming? If anything, they should’ve just kept their lips sealed until this reveal.
I got this vibe as well. Was almost suspecting some AI involvement, but I’m not sure what it is. It definitely didn’t feel … right? /Shrug.
If they hadn’t used their voice actors, I wouldn’t have known they were Liadrin and Lor’thamar. Especially Liadrin.
But eh, the void beasts looked pretty cool. Just … yeah, something was off. Can’t put my finger on it. I wouldn’t call it bad just … weird.
I missed the technical quality of the Anduin/Thrall cinematic from TWW. That looked amazing.
I also didn’t like how it just felt generic, it seemed the end was just a cheap knockoff of the BFA cinematic end where Sylvanus and Xal had that same little smirk after the other side called the light, etc.
The lady sounded like Chirrut from Rogue One. “I am one with the light and the light is with me”
It wasn’t bad, just bland.
The human eyes and mobile AI look to the cinematic creeped me out.

Well, this was a letdown, imo. Blood Elves have been in this universe for ages. I would have thought this would be more dramatic, and less choppy. Not a bad cinematic, but not as good as Legion or TWW.
Because they tried to generate a lot of hype and delivered nothing. That is why.

If we didnt know about housing this would’ve been massive hype getting it announced now. You are only not hyped because you were already told about these things.
I am confused with your comment. Blood Elves been on the WoW universe for ages… check. But what’s the problem. Cinematic wise it was great. But having Xala’tath for another expansion as an antagonist? I hope there is more developing story. As for the Blood Elves goes, we knew this was going to happen in their kingdom. But it doesn’t feel like a reveal.

10/10 - would watch again. It was just the cliff hanger I was looking for. We know where we are headed and what the fight looks like. Can’t wait to see the 2nd half in February.
Can they put anduin in a daycare and put this random paladin in charge of the alliance until he grows up?

To be fair though, I pretty much think any cinematic they release is going to be dumb at this point. The story is absolute trash and I honestly just do not care about anything going on in these things lol.
