Normal and Heroic dungeons would nice with npcs, possibly LFR. As mentioned previously, FFXIV has a similar system and sometimes the npcs are better then actual players.
they should completely rip off swtors system with the addition of allowing a full 5man party. its pretty good.
one thing they could do is make it available at early levels. maybe give them cool quest chains to unlock them. would be a good way to reuse old areas.
They actually use 2 NPCs in the Exileâs Reach dungeon, so it is totally expandable into other low-level content.
I actually like the idea of just filling out a group, if only one of my usual friends is on. When you do that in SWTOR, you get a full 4-person group, as it uses your companion and friendâs companion for those two slots.

they have the code. theyve had it for years. look at darnell in tirisfal glades. all that there is to do is to implement the ability to customize them and then come up with cool characters.
I hate it. That type of stuff only encourage people to be noobs.

Solo play and small group play has always been a part of the MMO experience. Having that experience within a larger (maybe massive even) online community is what defines the MMO genre, not how many people are in your group.

if anything wouldnt it do the opposite by lowering the barrier to entry to endgame. higher difficulties of dungeons and raids would be unnaffected. and new players wouldnt be thrown into the deepend of a completely different playstyle of the leveling preceeding it.
They just need to scale regular, heroic and mythic dungeons like torghast. 1 to 5 players. Leave mythic + and raids for group content.

Nope. That system is pretty bad.
You know Looking for dungeon and Looking For Raid? That made the player base stupidly bad right? AI party member only helps that. Itâs what happens in Final Fantasy right now. People canât play their class and donât have any good awareness because AI do job for them.

fair enough. dont see much harm in normal mode though. everyones just going into dungeon finder anyways.
as we all know the determining factor of a games quality is how much it lets you feel superior to others. at that point might as well quit and go play everquest. they still update that.

Itâs not about feeling superior. Itâs about playing online with people. You should aspire to improve yourself, not finding something to rally behind where you can be lazy and worse then normal.
If you to play an MMO RPG then stop trying to think those systems are good and benefitful, they are not. Even if optional, itâs an online game where you see people, go with people.
Donât like people? Hey fair enough, give a shot to Fire Emblem or Ocotopath traveler. They are amazing RPG you can play at your pace.

Anything below mythic raid ilvl is considered ânot contentâ by people here. Basically if anyone has anything better, then posters here feel like theyâre being held back.
