They completely retool retail to be exactly like Plunderstorm with different themes.
Good.
Way better than 10 horrible written quests, a boring and soloable boss and some random 2002 dungeon where im forced to kill another random NPC contnuosly to no end so i can get a chance at some cosmetic.
I feel like healers would have an aneurysm if they needed to aim heals at specific people in a raid.
I was hoping they would replace the current gameplay model with a Mario Kart style racer.
Wildstar required you to skillshot heals with the Medic class and it was fine. The esper had more traditional mmo healing but plenty of people played the medic.
What is this a reference to? The niffen digs or?
Oktoberfest, halloween and love is in the air.
Oh. Yeah I don’t even do holiday events because they’re so lame. lol.
Given that I don’t care for Battle Royales, I suppose that would be the thing that motivates me to finally leave.
If Blizzard turned World of Warcraft into a Battle Royal, I would leave WoW forever. It would be sad, I have a lot of memories in this game. A lot of history. But I would watch from the outside as it goes the way of Wildstar.
Preservation evoker already does (dream breath) and you’re right, I hate that.
Like pandastorm and shadowstorm and warthin storm (its a tumor storm, very gross) and legiostormo and wrath of the stormstorm and the burning storm and the vanilla storm and…
I want my money back … from the new Expac! I hate this.
If Blizzard turns my MMO into a battle royale I’d show myself to the door.
I just wish we at least got pirate themed content on retail instead of another rep grind that encourages swan diving into wood chippers.
I will delete my account. I will literally make a ticket to have my entire account nuked.
Oh I think they would hang onto enough PvE content to be able to claim they were a MMO. But its possible that PvP would turn into BRoyale with separate events, things like battlegrounds would be under-developed, and more gimmicks like dragonriding would be added to the game. When you consider the similarity between the little icons of dynamic flight and its vigor system and the clicky combat system of Plunder, it’s not that big a stretch. Even if I’m stretching a point, I still think they are trying to expand into a new format for the game, heading into the next few years, and I won’t be at all surprised if TWW is the last expansion I play.
Having just earned enough gold to buy it, at least I can say I didn’t waste my money.
Probably the sole reason I like WoW tokens. If you’re determined enough, you can pretty much buy all the cash shop stuff plus other things with nothing but gold.
Honestly, I can respect that. With how Plunderstorm has made me feel. And after all the missteps of WoW’s past, WoD BFA and Shadowlands, TWW has to be a good expansion…or it will be my last WoW expansion. I’ll set it down and say goodbye. This time no ‘If they do this I’ll come back.’ No ‘If they improve this I might resub’. And I’ll be sad. I started this game in TBC. I met some of my best friends in this game. Met people who are like family to me. Even met the man I love in this game. But If TWW is not good…it’ll be time to let it go.
