Some people think: swallowing tide pods, drinking while pregnant, texting/drinking while driving, giving guns to chimpanzees and children, leaving a baby/dog in a hot car in july, shoving your hands into giant baseball mitt like gloves full of something called “bullet ants” to prove you’re a man, etc are all good ideas… does that make them right?

And those are completely fine to have as opinions.
The issue here from what i’m gathering, is the attitude towards people with it. Essentially if your being an elitist and/or jerkwad with/about it, or towards somebody who has a different opinion and such, that usually lands you a flag. Infact, i have noticed this from a lot of people using their opinions by themselves as a reason why people flagged them, and never once expressed or think maybe it’s their attitude or how they delivered it might be the case.
For example, I like islands (seriously, i do) because they are quick little kill/collectathons. Something i enjoyed in Spyro, sans the time limit. But i can understand that not everybody will like it, and even i can agree it needs improvements. And i’m not going to insult somebody who doesn’t like the islands or belittle them for it because it doesn’t add to my point and just be unnessercary.
I had a lot of people disagree with me over the span of 2 years (well 4 years, but thats on the old forums from 2016) being on the forums, and not once i ever been landed with a flag.
Some people take internet too seriously.

You can like anamorphic animals without being a furry in a same way you can like Elves without being Tolkien fanboy.
