Whats time gated here? Everything in Part 1 is obtainable right now with no waiting. If you don’t have the rep at revered (which btw is really quite easy), then that tells me your not even doing the bare minimum of content. Literally do your emissary’s every 3 days and you’ll get to revered in about a month its not all that hard.

Also… Time Gated? When was the current Path Finder time gated? You could have finished all of Pathfinder Part 1 when the game released.

Part 2 is not time gated since when they release it, you will be able to get it the moment it comes out.

I wonder if he means Rep gated? You still have to farm out the rep which takes the longest of the requirements. Still kinda silly to complain about this tho.

8.2 is way to long, and flying should have been released in 8.1.5.

Maybe. While I totally understand the rep part does take the longest to do, it can be done in a matter of a few weeks if you just logged in every day and played for 30 mins and do WQ, Emissary Chest, and Missions. If you did Loremaster for each zone ((Which I am sure most have already done since that is required for Part 1, you have most of the rep already done.

Um…how is it not time gated? You literally have to wait around until the second part comes out. That’s the very definition of time gating.

That’s true, I will give you that, but flying in WoW is totally a luxury than a requirement so I am fine with waiting.

I will concede the OP is being overly dramatic, but the whole thing is literally time gated. I have part 1 done already. I have had it done for months. Can I fly? No, it’s time gated.

But Part 1 does not say that it gives you the ability to fly. It does increase your mount speed though which I am sure you got when you earned it. Part 2 though while it requires Part 1 would be considered time gated if they released Part 2 and no one can obtain it till a later future patch.

Getting the Pathfinder requirements done isn’t hard. What’s hard is that Blizzard doesn’t have an in-game monitor or dashboard where Pathfinder requirements can be tracked in real-time.

You have to pull up the website for the list of requirements and track the achievements. Otherwise, you have to rely on the generosity of third party sites to see which quests/reps need to be checked off.

It’s like the devs intentionally design the game to steer business to a third party web site. :wink:

Rep is time gated unfortunately, as there’s no way to grind rep outside of WQ on fixed timers.

Now if I could farm rep off mobs, you’d be right, it’s not time gated, but I can’t do that. (For whatever reason.)

Isn’t that what the achievement section in game is for though? You can see where you are and what you have done for Loremaster there. Rep is viewed in your Rep tab and it displays what rep level you need to be.
