What’s in your gaming “Backlog”?
I just jumped back on steam for the first time in a few years after not gaming, and then coming straight back to WoW.
WoW became a chore to me, and unfun so since ive unsubbed I’m looking to enjoy the type of games that got me hooked on gaming as a young lad and play some of those awesome RPGs that I missed.
Playing rn: Witcher 3
I don’t know why I never picked this up before, so far 25 hours in and I’m having a ton of fun.

The Outerworlds
AC: Valhalla
Mount and Blade: Bannerlord
Every year steam convinces me to buy a bunch of crap I don’t need.
So my backlog is quite substantial
It would be faster to list what’s not on backlog
I basically have the entirety of the past decade and part of the preceding decade to play through. For the former half of that time period, the problem was that my hardware was too weak to play most stuff at above-potato settings and I was too poor to upgrade it, and for the latter half I was just too busy, being firmly locked in “career build” mode. I snuck in a couple games but it was mostly just WoW I was playing, if I played anything.
Now have the hardware and the time though, so I’ve started working through the backlog. Started on Witcher III not too long ago, as well as a playthrough of the Halo single player campaigns (with Halo 1 being a replay). After that I have my eyes on the Mass Effect trilogy remaster.
I have a backlog going back to the PS2 console. I’ll just leave it at that.
I haven’t bought a new game in quite a while. There are quite a few I’m either currently playing, or going back to soon. I’m currently in the middle of the new D3 season, DOOM (2016), WoW (kind of, hating this expac), Duke Nukem 3D, and Half-Life 2. I need to get a new joystick so I can replay the entire X-Wing series.
