Retail is dying couse people whinied to add all those QoL features, and eventually nothing matters, everyone gets everything, and even if you fail you get it…
As anoying as some things is in classic, is also part of its charm, some people wont get certain things, and there is actually working gold sinks… you never wondered why more people play a 15 year old game more then Retail ?
its not as easy as this, but its part of it… as long as we have things to strive for, people keep playing, anoying or not, when people have and done everything, they log… lack of gold go make gold, actually playing the game !

most people who want to DPS prefer to DPS, and if given the option would rather not do a dungeon than try to tank / heal one.

it requires 2 sets of gear. for ex, if a DPS warrior happens to have a full tank set ready, there is a good chance he doesn’t even need heroics anyway. Same thing for casters.
i’m not saying it WONT help. just that it wont help as much as you all claim it will.

At this point everyone I know logs in for raid, then logs out for the week. It isn’t 2006 anymore and we all have careers. Nobody wants to sit there doing mandatory gold farming just so they can actually participate in other parts of the game like PvP. The game doesn’t actually have anything to do other than these 2 things so it’s dying.

Objectively false, dual spec was added in patch 3.1, LFD in 3.3, and WoW didn’t start losing subs until after Cata launched.

I don’t think TBC is doing bad, but I do know alot of my guild would be quite thrilled at the idea of being able to dual specc. especially some people that respecc constantly to fill in any roles we might be missing due to a plethora of reasons.
I’d not be against getting dual specc in Classic TBC, not going to hold my breathe, but I personally think it’d be a positive benefit to the game. It’s one of the more universally liked changes made to the game, regardless of what the loud but tiny groups of naysayers say. 
If we have to wait till wrath for it, well just another reason why wrath classic will be superior to TBC classic, but no big deal.
Well, they are willing to cater to the few players that want a fresh classic restart. So they are making servers just for them.
Lets get a new server for tbc that allows dual spec. Those that want dual spec can play on the new server. I say server but i am sure we know it would end up needing multiple servers. This way there is no longer a debate. The simpletons that come up with rediculous excuses why dual spec is such a bad thing can then start telling playera to go to dual spec servers. Which they would gladly do.
Any person that disagrees with this can no longet hide thier real motive. That motive being the fact that they just want to be negative and get off in trying to go against what other players want. If you dont want players to have a dual spec server then u r admitting you just want to force ppl to play how you want to.
After the majority switch to dual spec servers, blizz will then be able to see that they are wasting thier time trying not to upset a handful of players that stayed behind.
They already have this evidence with hiw many players abandoned the classic servers for the changes that came with tbc. No matter how many ppl say they dont want changes, the proof is in thier choice. They chose to move to the changed tbc servers.
