Rules

i go first my toon was made late BC he was a NE warrior. the best thing i did with him was doing a raid on org. was sitting by sw for 2 hours trying to get people for it, ended up downing all the horde’s city’s. when cata was about to drop all my friends stop playing so i did end up deleting him, but just last year i got them to undo that. as for rare stuff i have some of the old ZG and ZA items.

  1. Mid Cataclysm (maybe about 10 months before MoP released?), a BE Rogue.
  2. Early in questing in the Ghostlands, there’s a quest to kill two elite mobs. I ended up grouping with a few other people who were on the same quest in order to complete it, and then did Ragefire Chasm with them. That experience was what convinced me to sub to the game rather than staying free to play.
  3. I still have her! She’s level 97, and hanging out in her garrison.
  4. Not pre-Cata, so no rare items or whatever.

  2. Best thing … hard to say. I did heroic dungeons with her, made some pretty nice pocket change by selling flasks (alc). When I tried getting into raiding it was mostly on my hunter and paladin some.
  3. Still got her. I’d post on her, but posting on her specifying it’s the same account as this one strikes me as kind of … weird. I dunno.
  4. She doesn’t have any. The rarest pre Cata things on my whole account are probably this hunter’s Nerubian Quiver (made it meself), and the little leveling quiver with a few Razor Arrows on my NE huntress in her bank. Still kind of wish I’d kept my iceblade arrows.

Around January of 2005. I had tried out the game on my sister’s account over the holidays, and decided to play, so picked up my own copy of the game.

2. what was best thing you did with him/her

Traumatized a gnome in Ironforge, jumping over them wearing Warbear Woolies.

3. do you still have them or did you delete them.

Long gone, alas. I do plan to re-make the toon for Classic.

4. if made pre cata do you have any rare items that you keep laying around that you like to share with us.

Only real rarity that toon had was a world drop of Titan’s Blade, a 2h sword. Kind of wasted on a Hunter, really. But EVERYTHING is a Hunter weapon, so I was quite pleased.

Sometime in February 2007 was when I started (or maybe a few months earlier, I’m old and forget lol).

Gnome Warlock - he’s still around on my old server (level 101 right now).

Yes, I have some of the old trinkets, quest items on various toons like the Faded Photograph and the Furlbog trinket.

Release night, after midnight of the first day (when they could start selling it in stores), about 40 minutes after the servers were up.

Holy Priest (always.)

  • Get all prophesy gear pretty fast, since the rest of the raiding guild was in BWL and they did these alt runs when I could actually raid; Even the alts had it, so any prophesy (Molten Core) stuff that dropped went to me.

  • Got benediction/anathema.

That is the only old thing I still have in her bank; It is not required to mog it, of course, but I just keep it to have.

I have that on a couple characters, you can trade it too (or sell it on the AH, but I’ve tried to sell it a couple of times and it never sells.)

Otherwise, I really hated raiding and my schedule did not allow it anyway. I could not raid 5 hours a night, 5 days a week.

She was also made as a replica of my beta phase 3/4 and open beta character. So you could say she is basically, “really old” for Wow.

I had to look up when Dire Maul went live, since I know that was my first big content patch, and reason backwards from there. I am not sure I could tell you ANYTHING else that happened in 2005. :smiley:

  1. Night Elf Hunter, sometime in the fall of 2006.

  2. First play session after leaving the the starting area, I ventured to the first small town before Darnassus. Patrolling outside the town was a large Tree Ancient NPC, I freaked out thinking it was attacking the town so I ran around to the back entrance and just hung out there until I released it was a friendly NPC.

  3. Still have him but not on original realm, around level 80.

  4. I enjoyed learning about the history of the Silver Hand, so when I found the gray vendor trash Nat Pagle Fishing book from AV (the one that talks about Ashbringer) I kept it in my bank. I sold that book during Legion for 400,000 gold when Paladin could start working on their Ashbringer Hidden Appearance quest chain.

Edit: Something more rare I have for question 4: The trinket that allows you to see and talk to the spirits outside of Scholomance.

  1. December, 2014, created Bulazakka, troll priest.
  2. Nothing.
  3. Deleted the character at level 54. He was originally created to be the healer for a group of my friends, but they leveled well past him so I ended up having to hoof it solo. Solo leveling as Holy in vanilla is not fun. In fact, it was so unfun, I ragedeleted the character and rerolled to a troll warrior which I still have to this day(though now a Kul’Tiran).
  4. The replacement toon has the Tabard of the Scarlet Crusade.

My first toon was a female Draenei Arms Warrior in June 2007.

I PvPed a lot on her and was invited in a PvP guild for being halfway decent.

The account she was on was hacked in 2010 while I was away from the game. As none of the items collected could be returned in 2011, when I came back, I started this account instead.

I had the Time Lost Proto Drake on my Shaman on that account, and the Epic Trinket that turned you into a monkey within a purple sphere. Nothing on the Warrior as I got bored of the class at the time.

  2. Not much. Didn’t even know about questing. We just went out and killed stuff.
  3. Still have her. She stopped at level 26.
  4. Nothing rare at all.

Yeah the quest line was removed in Cata.

1.During Vanilla WoW. Not sure the exact date.
2. Nothing good. He was a Dwarf Warrior. I tried to fight two Trolls at the same time and died. I knew nothing about the game.
3. He was deleted quickly.

  2. Accidentally deleted him in 2016 and almost cried, then realized u could have gm get him back. The gm said “you get one” :slight_smile:

Jhanara, holy priest, made the first day of Vanilla, November 2004.

The best thing I did with her was kill C’thun with my raiding group. We barely got beat out for server 1st and ended up 2nd. They let my spend my DKP for the priest AQ40 set after the rogues all got theirs, and I was able to collect the set. I still have it! We also made it about 1/2 way though Naxx before BC hit.

I still have her, she is level 120 and I bring her to our guild alt raids, and she is my enchanter / tailor.

I have a bunch of old stuff, but its all in my void vault, and i can’t check it right now. One thing is the Barov Peasant Caller, and other stuff like that.

This toon created December 2008.
Not sure of anything overly special but this is still my main.
Still have the Spectral Essence trinket.
