Bugged. Can do the first two parts of this quest but the third stays at 0% regardless of player actions.
Same, can’t get past puddle
same i maintain the bar in the middle and click the book but nothing happens it still 0%
edit 1: oh got the quest, the people around me starting to touch the 3 water pools and the book is now clickeable
edit 2: now the Ohn’arah quest is bugged and cant loot the wooden thing
edit 3: i think i found the problem, the “terrain” dont works when other player is near you trying to use the same “terrain”
Here is how to do it. Set your fire totem down nearby, and empower your elemental. The water puddles appear on the ground. There is a bar on your screen with a barely perceptible slider on it. You have to maintain a balance between the fire from your empowered elemental and the cooling water from the puddles. AS SOON AS THE SLIDER IS IN THE MIDDLE, click on the dig. A hand appears when you get close, just click on it and you start using a pickaxe to dig. A % appears on the dig. You might have to repower your elemental, or run through some puddles to bring the slider back to the middle. Once you get to 100% of the dig, its done.
the problem is the % reset when other player speak with the npc
At this point I can’t tell if the Blizzard employee who created this is retarded or I’m just stupid. None of the newer quests are a simple click on it and go anymore. You didn’t have to be a rocket scientist to figure out what’s going on. You didn’t have to google up how to solve EVERY problem, it was pretty much click on the glowing thing. I find the whole archeology set very boring ( probably because I can’t figure out what to do ). I’m here because I can’t finish the “tutorial” quest, let alone a real quest.
