Your first epic ever

Do you remember your first epic? I remember mine was “The Lobotomizer”, the epic dagger from AV exalted rewards… After weeks and weeks of grinding, I finally hit exalted…I was a God among my peasant friends with blue items. The thrill I got when I equipped that dagger, can’t forget it. Still with my slow mount, but I had that black glow around my waist. I wonder if it’s going to be the same this time around, if it’s going to fell as rewarding as was back then.

The Nightfall Blade.

I was a hunter at the time, it was AMAZING OMG ITS PURPLE WHAT?!?!?! so I equipped it in true “lolhunterweapon” fashion

Cenarion Bracers. Not as exciting as some but I was pretty pumped at the time. I mean, it’s purple! But then I got Finkle’s Lava Dredger like next week or the week after.

Never ending battle of: it’s a rogue weapon. NO, hunter weapon! gotta love vanilla…and dkp’s :)))

Brutality blade on my Rogue in Molten Core. I was the only rogue that run and ended up getting several more epics, including like 3 Nightslayer pieces.

Don’t remember if it was the very first…

But the TUF. Maybe some of the dungeon 2 set.

After I got that on my Ret Paladin, I’d pull agro off tanks in the later undead dungeons.

Kang, the Decapitator dropped randomly while I was in a 5-man group. They just let me Need on it because I was a warrior. I was shocked it dropped and shocked the group just let me have it. A double shock I’ll never forget.

When I came back for Legion (8.2) and a legendary randomly dropped for me I nearly soiled myself until I realized how common they were for that expansion.

Wall Of The Dead…

Was a random drop off of some mob in Fellwood. It paid for a good chunk of my level 60 mount. :slight_smile:

Mine was the dazzling longsword. Dropped off of some gorillas in southern stranglethorn near booty bay. I ended up selling it pretty quickly to get my level 40 mount.

Never got one in Vanilla. Reckon my first was actually in Wrath because I didn’t have much time to fully play BC. It was a set of robes (I was playing Druid) that I still used anyway because it gave more int then my leather chest.

I have said this before, on this forum, Destiny 2h Sword. I gave it to a player that helped me out extensively when i first started after they got hacked and came back to a bunch of naked toons. First one I ever won and used was Zin’rokh, Destroyer of Worlds on my Paladin.

Mine was the Skullflame Shield. The surprise and shock of seeing purple text was definitely memorable. But alas, I was a priest and so I gave it to my friend because she was a warrior. I don’t think she ever tanked with it though. Oh well.

I still remember my first green drop. It was a wand with the eyeball on a stick model with +1 int. It was way too low for me when I looted it, so I gave it to my priest friend and he rocked it for quite a while.

I was questing in WPL with a paladin friend while on my priest when Dwarven Hand Cannon drops. Since neither of us could use, we plopped it on the AH and split the sales. Exciting and disappointing all in one lol.

Mandokir’s Sting in ZG. It was my first run with a new guild and none of the hunters needed it, so I got to roll for it on my rogue.

My first world BoE was a Krol Blade which I ended up giving to a warrior friend.

I don’t remember mine so it must have been something like a ring or belt.

I think it might have been the 2H sword destiny. Was given to me by a mage friend who didn’t want it.

Then again it was a crap weapon due to the 2.6 weapon speed but I didn’t understand that at the time. Eventually got me the unstoppable force.

Searing Bow from Tanaris.

It had a low weapon speed for a higher proc rate, sicne it was uncapped, with Crusader was good times, just lower damage for practical extended use. (Lv 50 i think) I will say it was great in PvP situations especially on Paladin to make them even more unkillable, should have used mine lol.
