Your favorite part of BFA?

I’ve been pretty vocal on the forums about my disdain for BFA pretty much after the first AoC was over, but what’s been your guys’ favorite part?

Personally for me the only part of BFA I 100% enjoyed was the opening cinematic. Whether you’re horde or alliance, when Sylvanas seemingly turned the tide of a very grim looking fight for the horde by risking herself and pushing to the front lines / destroying an entire siege tower by herself and shouting “For the horde!” it invoked a lot of emotions. That and Saurfang completely brushing off being pin cushioned and charging forward with the horde flag in hand got me so excited for the expansion. I watched the cinematic hundreds of times.

Daughter of the sea, even as a horde purist since vanilla, that song is top knotch amazing.

The scenery of the game is amazing, probably the best out of all the expansions so far in my opinion. Drustvar’s spookiness is great.

The new variety of mounts was pretty cool.

I think that’s one of the reasons I’ve been so vocal about how much I hate it. It’s the first expansion that finally focused on horde vs. alliance after 15 damn years and it turned out to be garbage. :frowning:

What was it for you guys?

For me it was logging out and logging into Classic

The artists did great with the landscape.

Other than that? The fact that it’s getting close to the end of it

I’m enjoying it quite a bit myself. Our guild 3/4th cleared MC today on our first “guild” run with 25-ish people 1-2 shotting all the bosses. Pretty pumped. :stuck_out_tongue:

I really liked how the new areas look: The visuals of the new zones are amazing and only got better with Naz and Mecha

Also like some of the new characters and their storylines, and wish they had more relevant roles but Sylvanas seems to want to hog all the spotlight

We need more Meerah singles

Good point, the landscape definitely is the best so far. Drustvar’s spooky vibe was really awesome. I honestly wish the whole zone was like that and not just a small half. ;(

I highly disagree with mecha. Probably my least favorite zone in the game. Some supposed legendary island but It’s literally just a garbage dump? I feel like they could have put more into it somehow… I did enjoy naz quite a bit though, even though it was difficult to traverse.

Here’s a riddle:
How do you know if someone plays WoW Classic?

Just wait… they’ll tell you in a matter of seconds.

I’m glad it’s almost over. Hear me out.
Expansions since Activision bought out Blizzard:
WotLK Good
Cata Bad
MoP Good
WoD Bad
Legion Good
BFA Bad
Next expansion should be good.

Activision’s business model of holding WoW subscribers has been they need to at least be competent every OTHER expansion. So next one should be good.

The big “WOW CLASSIC” icon next to their names is also a good indicator.

Not really a riddle.

But can you blame people? Everyone’s pretty emotionally attached to the game whether they want to admit it or not and I think BFA was a big let down.

I wish I could be as optimistic as you.

When it ends and 9.0 is released, that will be my favorite part

That’s my hopes.

Yeah, but he was trying to be edgy! C’mon

Yeah, I would be that optimistic if things like 6 month contract lock in mounts weren’t put in before every quarterly report, toys being added to the cash shop, a new recruit a friend pyramid scheme, all the people they fired, all the core members that made Blizzard leaving, etc…

War Mode was a great feature. I can play on PvP realm when I do want some world PvP action, and opt out if I need to do some chores. It’s not the same as tagging yourself on a PvE realm, because in WM you get phased only with people who opted in too and it’s essentially a PvP realm rules on demand.

I love how your reply was just shut down IMMEDIATELY lmfao. Nice try though hun <3 <3

My favorite bit is how angry it makes people.

I liked it, but the non-stop alliance complaining / crying about it to the point that Blizzard gave them free end game raiding gear for 8 weeks in a row and all sorts of other unfair buffs was really stupid in my opinion.

Having the option to serve N’zoth in some manner. Seriously, being able to purposely keep his gift is the best thing about this expansion.
