SNES- Chrono Trigger and Super Mario: Legend of the Seven Stars.
I have a lot of games I loved on SNES though.
This is hard. I enjoy almost all NES/SNES games I played. They had immersion (For being 8bit/16bit), they didn’t have loot boxes. What you bought was what you got. A full game, that if you wanted something unlocked in it, you earn it in the game.
All those games give me great memories. New era games? Not really as fun when things are slowly released and you play the credit card game.
NES river city ransom! (So glad the switch has this available)
SNES Mortal Kombat 2 and earthworm Jim!
Flip side sega genesis altered beast
Blaster Master
Ogre battle. To this day i still want to play it.
Mickey Mousecapade! Was on the Nes yes.
Did you know that one of the fantastic features of this new forum is that they included an OT section? And did you know this is not it?
Super Mario Kart
All the ones I like have been mentioned. I used to really like the hockey game Blades of Steel for NES for the fights. I don’t even know anything about hockey but still, those fights.
I started with an N64, but I have played various SNES ports. Mario World, ALttP, and Mario RPG are my faves.
SNES-
Legend of Zelda
Chrono Trigger
Ogre Battle
Super Metroid
Final Fantasy 2,3 AKA 4 and 6
Super Mario World
NES:
Dragon Warrior I
Dragon Warrior II
Dragon Warrior III
Dragon Warrior IV
Final Fantasy I
SNES:
Final Fantasy IV
Final Fantasy VI
Chrono Trigger
Dragon Quest VI
a lot of great games on this list so I won’t rehash but I gotta give bionic commando some love.
Legend of Zelda and Rygar.
I’m really glad you mentioned Super Mario World. Most people revere Super Mario 3 which I also love… but find World to be far superior and more enjoyable.
Man. Tough one. Legend of Zelda for sure.
Wonder what happens if I bomb this rock. Nothing. Let me me move step and do again.
Super Mario series. Loved 3
Metroid.
Too many to think of to be honest. And how k ok NG have I been gaming? Original atari 2600. My NES had the robot for gyroscope or whatever it was called haha.
I was more of a Sega Genesis fan back then but I did have a SNES too.
The SNES games I enjoyed most were Link to the Past and The Legend of Mystical Ninja.
Metroid
Super Metroid
Zelda
Zelda: A Link to the Past
Chrono trigger.
Final Fantasy III/6. I still occasionally replay it on mobile, in my opinion it’s the best in the series. The villain Kefka is such an evil bastard but he’s also hilarious and a joy to watch. Plus you can have one of your characters duplex a frekkin train!
Duck Hunt.
