I’m still farming that precious Invincible… Invincible, Mimirion’s Head and Ashes of Al’ar are the 3 mounts I only need and I have none of them. :disappointed: :sob:

Don’t give up hope! You’ll get them eventually.

Id suggest trying to act like you DONT want the mounts. Only things you don’t want actually drop in this game.

Magic Broom.
it’s a stick with nothing but a handful of scrawny bristles.
They could even remove those bristles and just give me a flying stick.
Maybe put a pogo pony head on it.

I’m personally a fan of the old Nagrand Talbuk mounts, as well as the Horde Warlord’s Deathwheel.

I got him from the tank bag on one of my alts before they removed everything cool from them. I still think that was a poor move on their part.

That’s good advice. My guild got the second realm drop of Midnight on our first Attumen kill and I didn’t even know that was an option. I didn’t win it (our GM let us all do a free roll for it rather than use DKP) but I saw it.

My second favorite is Broken Highland Mustang. I finally got a normal horse mount! It makes me so happy lol.

That’s not an accurate count. I have 552 according to my Armory. To know how many you really have, go to your Achievement tab, click on Statistics > Character > Gear > Mounts Owned.

  1. Shu-Zen (I know, store mount, but I love doggos and I love Pandaria)
  2. Ironbound Proto-Drake (I had a lot of fun with my old guild getting all the achievements on Ulduar that night, and the drake was an awesome reward.)
  3. Winged Steed of the Ebon Blade (I remember farming Hellfire Ramparts for days trying to pull enough gold together because I used to suck at money management)

Invincible, just because of the story.

I used to casually farm mounts but when Invincible dropped I felt like I had “won” the game and didn’t need any other mounts lol.

I’ll switch them up once in a while but Invincible is my “go to” mount for all my characters.

What you are describing is the “total mounts usable by one character” as it applies to collection achievements. You do have 552 mounts owned in your collection, but that total also includes mounts you have collected from the opposite faction.
I click Achievement /Statistics tab /Character /Mounts Owned when I am working towards the collecting achieves but outside of that it doesn’t mean anything.

I have no idea what you’re talking about. The 500 or 552 count means nothing because it’s reflecting duplicates. It’s counting the mounts that have an Alliance counter part (or vice versa) twice. I’ll use a recent mount for an example: The Rubyshell Krolusk. When I bought this mount, it automatically gives me Alliance counter part. I didn’t buy two mounts… this one just changes colors/name depending on what faction is using it. H̶o̶w̶e̶v̶e̶r̶,̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶B̶l̶o̶o̶d̶t̶h̶i̶r̶s̶t̶y̶ ̶D̶r̶e̶a̶d̶w̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶a̶n̶d̶ ̶P̶r̶i̶e̶s̶t̶e̶s̶s̶’̶ ̶M̶o̶o̶n̶s̶a̶b̶e̶r̶ ̶a̶r̶e̶ ̶t̶w̶o̶ ̶c̶o̶m̶p̶l̶e̶t̶e̶l̶y̶ ̶d̶i̶f̶f̶e̶r̶e̶n̶t̶ ̶m̶o̶u̶n̶t̶s̶ ̶w̶i̶t̶h̶ ̶n̶o̶ ̶c̶o̶u̶n̶t̶e̶r̶p̶a̶r̶t̶.̶ Nm this was fixed with 8.1.5.
