Your favorite looking Paladin race?

For me it’s Lightforged, obviously they fit lore-wise but the heritage armor is amazing.

Why do you guys like your Paladin’s race?

Lightforged is new. But I’d have to go with Human. Most of the armor models are made to fit human sizes and profiles

Yeah that’s exactly why I can’t play them, they’re soooo obnoxiously boring XD

I can neither agree nor disagree with this assertion at this time

Human Male, reminds me of the WC3 hero, uther was the man, nothing screams paladin more than a human male in plate.

The haters will say it’s basic, but it’s the OG.

For me the only true paladins are human, draenei (lightforged included) and dwarf since they used the light willingly and the light responds. All horde paladins are not, either they forced the light to help them (blood elfs) or have wierd lore on how they got their version of “light” tauren use the sun??? lol and troll get it from holy t-rex god ( I know im a blood elf but im a alliance human at heart will go back when they add crossfaction play) but if we talk only looks human and blood elf look well in almost all armors

As much as I like Tauren I just don’t care for the Tauren Pally Mog options.

Human, Dwarves and BE look the best IMO.

I want to like ZTroll but I don’t like their mount and they look like they are riding a Shetland Pony how they ride the charger when glyphed. If KT’s were able to play Pally I would do the rep grind just for that.

There is no rep requirement for allied races anymore since SL pre-patch

I don’t have any alliance characters so I would have to level one to complete the campaign to unlock them.

Human and Dwarf Male and Female LFD.

Humans are by far the preferred race, male the gender. The musculature and stature work with most appearances.

I’m enjoying the Zandalari, however if they gave more race/class options or opened up to allow players to build their character’s musculature I’d go undead in a heartbeat.

Human.
The armor from the Warfront makes Paladin into a Knight. To sexy.

Humans.
Started playing in 2nd Ed D&D back when humans were the only ones allowed to be Paladins. The mix of Arthurian Knight, Carolingian Paladin, and Monastic Orders is pretty neat. I also like the Knights of Solamnia in Dragonlance.
The original Knights of the Silverhand share a lot of the same influences and were the first paladins introduced in lore back in Warcraft 2 (obviously, from a timeline perspective based on lore added later, technically the Draenei were the first Paladins).

From there:

  • Elves
  • Lightforged Draenei
  • Dwarves
  • Draenei

Human, thats my vote, its just appropriate for lore. Then BE’s imo

How far out of date are you on the lore? The Light let the Blood Elves capture and use one of it’s Naaru and get their powers from it so that they could eventually save the Sunwell, redeem themselves and go back to being more traditional Paladins. They haven’t been draining it for power for ages now!

Human tbh, followed by Blood Knights. Lightforged Draenei have the coolest Paladin lore, but they’re squidgoats.

their origins will always be tainted though like all the other horde paladin races they are not “traditional paladins”, but i must admit they look good in all trasmog. Anyways hope they add crossfaction in the near future so i can stop being this dumb elf and go back to my glorious human form

Dark Iron Dwarf - can’t easily explain why, but just love the look of the heritage armor set, and I enjoy the class/race, so it all works well for me.

Here’s two of mine for Tauren paladin you might like.
