As Outlaw I’m starting to love a good Fire or Frost Mage. Wasted a ton of time trying things with different classes and have not had nearly as much luck with others compared to a Mage.

Ret Pal, Mage, DH. Those 3 classes do insane damage, and have more than enough damage to be paired with “Stun Bot” Sub.

Does it really matter if the mage is frost vs fire (snares from frost better or are pretty even regardless of spec)?

Both have good burst and the normal mage CC. I like playing with Frost because of the extra snares and roots that really screw over Melee. Fire is probably better in most situations considering you can one shot someone if both of us CC properly.
