Your Destroying Your Own Game

Stat inflation unbalances everything.

It trivializes content and makes it irrelevant. If you can obliterate any threat this easily then, is it really a threat? The game doesn’t scale with the gear. Players are segretated into tiers of gear that are so wide they can’t possibly do content together.

If catch up mechanics weren’t in place, this game would have most of it’s playerbase permenantly gone and/or unable to participate.

What’s the point of increasing the numbers on gear if you’re going to decrease it at some point anyway? Why do you create useless work for yourselves?
