The issue is that “play on a server that fits you” is easy to say. But it’s about as practical as “go back in time and choose a different server”.
The main reason I rolled on a PvP server was the concern that player numbers would drop off over time and having people to play with was a greater concern than world PvP ganking. Oceanic servers offer only one PvE server, during mid-day and evening on a WEEKEND, that server sees only medium traffic. That’s a pretty big problem if the player numbers begin to dwindle.
So realistically, the only solutions are to shut up and stay, or move my alliance to another server and roll horde on the most populated server as to secure a large volume of players.
I support this phase of game. They said how they were releasing phases, snd this is one many were looking forward to. It’ll be over, before to long, so let the people who enjoy it have their day.
Probably because many of them were lied to by the pserver crowd and streamers about what the PvP servers would be like. A very good friend of mine was convinced that PvP servers were the way to go because that’s all that was talked about prior to launch. Let’s just say he’s keeping me company on my PvE server now.
Basically they were convinced it would be something it never was and never will be.
Either one was uninformed, or just stubbern. And, picked pvp anyways. Like I said, you won’t like the best solution. Since you can’t play anyways, why not start an alt?
“Not having time” is also not an excuse. You’re going to be playing anyways, don’t play as a ghost.
How long is “too long”? How would you know if it had been too long?

Here’s some good news for you: the game isn’t going away. Roll on a pve server, roll a different class or even faction. Then when paid transfers come in move your character from the pvp server that abused you to a pve server.
You’re fishing now. Phase 1 lasted 3 months, so I would say 3 months till p3.
Oh I support World PVP… But I do not support the fact that they released this phase of the game when the game is in such a screwed up state…
They should have never let the servers become as imbalanced as they are… Skeram is literally 74% Horde, 26% alliance. It is impossible to even do anything. To make it worse Horde do not let any actual PvP happen because any fight that occurs they bring 3x the amount of players than alliance have to every fight.
Yeah, I can understand how hard it would be to reroll and leave behind a high or even a few high level alts. All that time invested wasted. I was lucky that I guessed that I only liked pvp in BG’s, relatively even contests, and never played on a pvp server. But I could have made the same mistake too back when I started. I see no reason to punish people for making a mistake in a game.

I’m not fishing at all. Anyone who takes 3 months off because of the pvp situation is unlikely to come back.
They are unlikely to reroll on a different server and throw away all the work they put into their character.
They’re unlikely to wait for a paid transfer that we have no way of knowing is coming.
None of the proposed solutions will have a positive effect on balance or the game. I don’t think there is a solution at this point.
Rerolling to a server that fits you IS a valid reasonable solution.

Pesky? Camping FPs and GYs is pesky. There is no honor, but you’ll play bandwagon faction because you would be camped due to being bad otherwise. Salute to your second rank, failure self.
